Golden Zephyr is a throwback to the original design of California Adventure which was to take you through sites and history of California. It’s supposed to be a throwback to Buck Rodgers and Flash Gordon from 1930s SciFi. The ride itself is supposed to be a classic early ride you might find on a California Boardwalk (Paradise Pier) like the Pike in Long Beach. Honestly, I don’t think anyone every got Zephyr and I wonder why they haven’t re-themed it yet. It’s not even gold.

The ride footage was great, alor of rides I hadn't seen before but the ferris wheel or Ride of Death as I call it is NOT on my list 😂 Jete with the "feels like home" getting on Soarin' - tugged at the heart strings.
