First I cook the meat and peas a little over the cook top and once it's halfway done I put it in a casserole dish with the sliced potatoes and bake it on 350 for 45 minutes. When the meat and potatoes start to get brown on the edges it's done.

I love fermented pickles! We do it in Poland in quite similar way - usually we keep it at home celowe to the window, we also add horseradish. And then at the end of summer we do a bunch for winter, we just close them in smaller jars, they stay long for many months. Just need to be kept in cold place to stop fermentation process

I had my daughter-in-law give me a haircut when I wanted one and couldn't get an appointment. I liked it but it was much less nerve-wracking when I was able to get back to the salon. Your haircut looks great and that was kind of a tricky cut! The zucchini chips looked delicious. Seeing you pack Z's lunch floods me with memories. My husband is retired now but I packed his lunch every day when he was still working. It was a fun challenge to make all the containers fit into the lunchbox!

Hello Noemi! Basil likes to be watered from the bottom. It has to be planted in a pot with holes and to water it, you simply fill a bowl with water und put the basilpot inside, for like 20 minutes or so. Greetings from Germany :)

For the seasoning for dehydrating I find it easiest to put all the seasoning in a powdered sugar shaker, massage them oil in first and then lay the slices on the trays and sprinkle the seasoning on either one or both sides of each slice. I usually just do one side. It ensures a fairly even distribution of flavour. If you put the trays on a clean surface or on parchment paper you can scoop up the seasoning that misses the slices and sprinkle it on.

Hi Noemi, please buy an terracotta pot with a hole and then put a basil in it. The pot must be outside. Not in the house. Basil is an Italian plant and she needs sun and fresh air. Give her not too much water. She don't like wet feet. You will see, it will work. I love your channel. Greetings from the lake of constance.

In Poland we call them low-salt cucumbers: garden dill, tall, already with inflorescences, garlic, salt and water. We have to wait two days preferably three. We make pickled cucumbers for the winter and add more ingredients to the marinade.

Hi Noemi, regarding the basil you have to separate the several stems a little (as they are planted too closely) and put them in a larger pot. It will be fine then.

Hi Noemi, Just seen your basel issue and not sure if you will read this but yesterday I had a good explanation about who to keep it longer. When you buy a plant in the supermarket, remove the plastic wrapping. Divide the plant into more peaces and put it in a bigger pot with new fresh soil. Then give it water via the bottom of the pot so it can take it from there. So not pour it on top of the soil. That should do the thing ! Good luck. Greetings from Belgium

The basil needs sun but not too much direct, hot sun. Keep it moist but not soggy. Clip the dead stem off. Clip off the top of the healthy stem just above a set of leaves to keep it bushy and not making flowers. Thank you for your videos!

Basil is a tough grow some times. It needs lite soil and good drainage and full sun. August is when it looks the best, as least for me in Chicago. Some plants do just great and others don’t. Sometimes I can get a root from a store bought package , but rarely. Cut it back every week or so . Love your zucchini chip idea. Thank you 🥰

Sometimes they pot the basil in just peat moss and it is not a good medium for them to grow in. Especially if you get them from the grocery store. I have had good success with Trader Joe’s basil, but I have to repot it right away. I put it in a bigger pot and give it good potting soil. I let it stay in our shady back yard where it only gets about four hours of morning sun.

Grow your cuttings of basil in water and leave it on your window sill, once it was a lot of roots transplant it into a pot. Prune the top of each basil stem so it branches out.

I want to try those sun fermented pickles. Love your haircut. As for the potted basil, you need a much bigger pot and also with a hole in the bottom for drainage. Basil doesn't like wet roots. When fresh basil has turned black and squishy you should throw it away. Cutting hair gets easier with practice. I started cutting my own hair a few years ago, and cut my sons as well. Shorter cuts are easier than trying to cut long hair straight.

Hi Naomi! You have to put the basil in a pot that has hole in it. 😊
