I always thought the multicolor fit your style very well. It actually does go with your collection in a way because it’s very colorful. And the short strap with the pearls is soo you! lol. It looked great.

Yes very likely prices will come down as demand falls after the four collections are released but maybe even after each of the four collections. It is a poorly constructed plastic bag after all with minimal leather which is not treated to protect from stains. It is also very difficult to style. The old ads show juxtapositions between extremely thin models and large bags as well as between the matte white plastic / superflat printing and extremely well tailored stretchy silk dresses and simple makeup with a bold lip. With succession / coastal grandma trends it is an odd time to bring back this collection. So either people will hide it / semi-embrace it by buying smaller items that are inside a neutral purse or perhaps go full early 2000s but I hope not! Hoping the Ed Hardy hats, and low cur true religion jeans with uggs days are behind us. 😂😂😂

Omg Jessie you did it! I’m happy for you finding a good deal on multicolor. I think I will go for SLGs because if I got a bag I’d just buy preloved and I don’t want to deal with bleeding and other issues from the old collab 😅
I was looking at the vintage Murakami bags online and most of them looked dirty and really scratched. I don't want to pay 2k for an old bag from early 2000s that looks like it stinks. 🙄

Time to clear out the Hermes and replace them with LV lol. Come back full circle. I really like this bag and the yellowing isn't bad. The lining color is gorgeous and much nicer than the new one.

Good buy, Jess, this doesn’t look as dated as most of the others. Definitely very wearable and the flower faces look good on it too.
ETA not their CarbonPro but I have used Collonil Waterstop Spray +UV Protection on LV vachetta and it’s been fine, it’s definitely stopped it darkening too much. I do one application of two coats of it and as I have it on azure it’s generally done at the start of summer each year and lasts.

Love murakami! The price for the bag seems fair based on condition. Unsure if I’d buy one but happy you found one before the new release. ALSO Jess in America you can order replacement tags, if you drop by an LV store you can probably ask an SA to order you a replacement luggage tag

I would love to see all the pieces Takashi did for each lv collection and all the released leaks. Where can I see all that? Also part of the reason bags were so big back then was that we were using paper planners.

Cool bag Jess- I think the charm camouflage is the perfect solution. I bet your MiuMiu sunglasses in their original pink velvet case would even fit 😊 I also have concerns about LV vachetta and water marks. Melbourne has rained so much in the past couple of years, I’ve hardly taken my LV bag out

I have the same bag the Lodge Multicolor but in PM in excellent condition bought it mid year from Japan love it too ❤! The new LV multicolor collection is amazing and will buy new one as getting a brand new multicolor bag is special and it will be limited so definitely worth it. Don’t thing prices will go down much , given the popularity.

Nice find Jess congratulations, the scuff you mentioned looks like dried up something on it that may lightly scrub off but then again some people don’t take risk with multi colour since the monogram itself can fade, I find beauty in the fault of old collections it’s like we are living through the evolution of the items and how laws affect how brand alter their manufacturing process. US Black Friday (after Thanksgiving) is by far our biggest fall sale day, with some deep discounts in different types of chain stores including Macy's and Nordstrom(sales on Coach and contemporary brands, further discount on clearanced designer luxury like Gucci, Prada etc:) I had gift cards, went out, saw everyone was out shopping so came home after bubble tea.

Imho in the video this bag looks old and dirty, you said it is from the bleeding. You have so many nicer bag, I personally wouldnt wear this one out while there are so many 100x better option behind you. Cost per wear, you are not making your money worth not wearing your bags.

I got the Speedy 30 in white multicolore preloved a year ago for around 900 AUD in my currency. It is in good condition, vachetta has darkened and it has some wear around the zippers but I love it for the price!!
Since you got it for such a steal, maybe see if LV can lighten the front pockets or maybe you can try a solution applied with a small bristle brush so you only touch the white area…

I could be wrong but from my recollection they don’t have murakami canvas to use to repair. You can send it in to repair other parts but not the canvas. I’d like to hear if anyone else has had a different experience
@ they could not repair the canvas for the reason you stated, but I was thinking more of a special cleaning solution since they would know the paint formulas used
So it is way more ecologically friendly to purchase a repairable bag they leep materials for. I am shocked they would refuse to repair anything especially since they are obviously running/just ran the same print again.
The discoloration looks pretty bad on camera, does it look better irl? But you can wear it with the whiter side out. The style of the bag looks very practical. I prefer crossbody, shoulder bags slide and I have to hold them in place. This colour way goes so well with your style 🩷

☹️To bad Louis Vuitton can’t replace vachetta on old pieces with no origin proof, I may be wrong about that if I was someone into multi coloured. If I was someone into that collection I would love it if they could replace the hardware and the vachetta that’s something they should do on any piece with a valid code inside or something. 8:38 ps that being interior will get brutally tanned from having things in there hands sliding in and out and heat furring the day against your body. Looks like a recipe for dark finger print and imprints of your items being on the interior that piece will not wear well until you had a bunch of sherling or fur SLG that won’t scratch or stick to the leather Inside. I can never get through a videos withrout commenting twice love the content Jess keep it up ⭐️⭐️

@@Jessiestyle I am not sure how one generally begins? Only met a few lifetime because I don't shop like that? But a family SA and my old SA both got in touch after they left their jobs to say they were doing that if we needed a personal shopper, and a former store personal shopper let us know they were doing "concierge shopping". I would look for local concierge + personal shoppers, see how they work (services,charges). Maybe see if any would like an apprentice? Then do what they do but better in some way, like more focused on just accessories:)
