It's basically like Qantas domestic, and it's not cheap at all. I paid about AU$600 one way. From memory you have to buy meals but water and beverages are free.
How did you fly easyJet from Perth to Melbourne when easyJet are a UK carrier flying all over Europe? EasyJet has never seen Australia so you definitely did not fly with easyJet

Sent my daughter to Cyprus last July ( her first holiday with mates) and we all went to the Algarve 2 years ago, all with Easyjet. Shocking customer service groundside. Ugly scenes in July when my 17 year old was refused boarding because they were overbooked for her return flight. We had to tell her to inform staff she was a minor and could not be left in a foreign country . Planes all grubby and cabin crew disinterested. Easyjet are the absolute dregs and I would never, ever fly with them again. The absolute pits

OMG! That plane was absolutely disgusting 🤢…….. I’d have been asking the crew before we took off for the cleaners to come back. As for the toilet. That is a pet hate of mine. There is no need for any plane to be that bad. I’d never fly with easy jet. Many of my friends have in the past. Not now though. Well done though Mark. You are braver than I’d ever be to sit in that crap. Looking forward to seeing the next flight .
easyJet used to be really good. Since the pandemic they have really gone downhill in my opinion. I flew from Glasgow to Southampton on easyJet earlier this month. The plane was thankfully clean and on the outbound flight it was an A320 Neo with the new leather seats. However the boarding experience was miserable, standing in a stairwell and staff wanting to nickel and dime more money out of passengers for having oversized hand baggage. My return flight was rammed due to the cancellation of the flight the night before and departed late. I'm appalled that your aircraft was so dirty and it's a shame that your first easyjet flight left you with a poor impression. Hope you'll give them another go sometime and fly up to sunny Scotland in the future! 🏴😀✈️

We booked a 2 week holiday to Tenerife with Tui but they farmed out the flights to EasyJet. We were dreading it as we have never used a budget airline before, we arrived back home yesterday 27th September. We were pleasantly surprised, it was the same plane both directions and it was very clean. The seats don't have much padding on them, so you get a numb bum. I agree the food is a good choice and the deals are good. Tasty as well. The pilot was very informative and smooth landings both ways. We had to buy a cabin bag to avoid paying extra but because it was through Tui we had 23kg of luggage allowance in the hold. It changed our opinion of Easyjet and would consider using them again for a city break where you can use a cabin bag.
Good review. I won't fly EasyJet by choice but Tui occasionally puts me with them. My experiences have been OK but the airline's TripAdvisor reviews are appalling. I'm a shareholder and have taken to voting against the re-election of any of the directors. The best UK LCC? Jet2 - by a country mile.
Thanks Mark I think Ive been lucky with Easy Jet thieve always been ok for me but I only take one carry on bag and domestic flights Liverpool Geneva and Liverpool to Nice Easy Jet were good flights clean plane,They are a good standby last year I took easy jet Inverness to Luton as the trains were nor running I needed to get back all in all I have never had any problems
Think you were unlucky, I've flown Easyjet a few times and have never had a dirty seat or filthy loo, before you right them off try another flight and see if it's any better.
I would have asked for the chief purser, showed him/her the areas that you highlight and ask if this an acceptable state of cleanliness for EasyJet. I would have also queried why the aircraft wasn't cleaned on turnaround....isn't it the cabin crew that do it on quick turnarounds? I would send the video clip to HQ Customer Services and asked for a comment/explanation. Trouble is, a lot of these aircraft carry very merry holiday makers and tanked up groups on hen/stag parties, not hard to guess where some of the stains come from. It doesn't matter what your ticket costs, you should expect a safe level of hygiene and not all their tickets are bargains if you can't book early. They make up for cheap tickets by all the add-ons and cabin baggage excess charges...typical low cost carrier. I have however only heard good things about EasyJet from friends so to see this was a shocker as it was for you. Otherwise, an excellent video, you highlighted the good and bad fairly and without drama.
I flew from London to Rovaniemi at Christmas time. The plane seemed clean but the staff were rude! I paid extra to sit at the front of the plane to get extra leg room and the cabin staff abruptly and rudely asked if I paid to sit there.Then the whole flight, I was getting evil looks. Don't think many people pay extra to sit at the front because it's a low cost ticket but this was the only company that would fly to the destination I wanted at that time etc. so I want to fly in comfort.
Just to add some contrast, I flew Belfast to Bristol and Belfast to Luton with Easyjet recently and both times, they were fantastic - I think they make it clear to the sizes and most people think they can get away with it! But I agree, a plane should be clean!
I appreciate your balanced, fair review! EastJet really needs to give that plane a scrub. I flew Stansted - Tenerife with Jet2 and found them to be great -- friendly, efficient crew, a clean plane, a decent selection of buy-on-board meals and snacks (including the ability to order ahead) and on-time arrival. I had another good experience with Jet2 a year before on a Stansted - Antalya flight. I think low-cost airlines are hit or miss. Some are worse than a grimy, seedy Greyhound bus in North America, while others are sometimes better than economy cabins offered by flag carriers. This weekend I will fly on a Dash 8 operated by a Canadian regional airline called PAL Airlines on the Ottawa - Halifax - St. John's Newfoundland route.
I've flyed with easy jet too many times they are getting more like Ryanair every year and the on board staff are getting more irritating as time goes on, i only fly with them if i have no other choice.

cheers mate. I'd never fly Easy Jet. Since 1995 when they started, they've always been substandard in their cleansing ness. Also, they have loads of cancelation which they make it extremely hard to get a refund of any type. But what do you expect from a GREEK/Indian heritage person. They are known for their cheapness in business. I guess if you want a bargain no thrills flight and don't care about safety and the plane being clean Then EASY JET's the flight for you.

That seems Unusual! I flew Easyjet on their Beautiful New A321neo and it was spotless Clean! They are my favourite European Low Cost Airline.
I flew easyjet to Zurick, the plane was spotless, the food great, the service superb. So I suppose it depends on the route and the day.

Much depends on the route. EZY flies routes which are neglected by the big national airlines.
