Mr. Swing is responsible for writing, producing, and playing the instruments for this song and pretty much the whole album. He would "stack" their vocals on top of each other. Those that have worked with him including Missy, said Devante would hear notes that most people didn't and hence the "Jodeci" sound. Loved your review! Nice to see younger people discovering my "age" music! lol

I was born in '80 so I thank God I was able to grow up in the 90s. I have a great appreciation for the music that came before and after but 90s music whether it's reggae, hip hop, soulful house but especially R&B has aged so well. 90s jams are such a huge draw out here in Toronto...I hope we still get a summer cuz this tune is making me look forward to the 90s summer boat rides. Also you ever thought about reacting to some up and coming/big time youtube producers?? I think that could be a good idea and dont know of anyone else doing so. If so, one producer you might like would be 318tae, a Lousiana producer who has 60k subscribers, and he specializes in 80/90 New Jack Swing beats. And one beat in particular you might like or love to react to is "Nights in Amsterdam" from his "These Kinda Nights" tape. He's has everything from RnB, to rap("Back that thang up" types of beats, to 80's pop("Madonna type beats/86 ferarri. You being a artist also, this might be a good way to further expose yourself to more producers and them getting exposed to you, so a win win!! Didn't mean to be longwinded, but hey...(smiley face)!!!
