The fact that Chrollo while getting assaulted by possibly the two greatest assassins alive still found an opening to counterattack Silva while also poisoning him AND ALSO USING NO HATSU to do so is fucking insane.
Well….. Chrollo is very fast , and hxh has established many times before that physical attacks often trump nen abilities in quite a few scenarios

Read the manga, What Zeno actually said, is that Chrollo doesn't stand a chance against him. But if he had used his full potential then there could be some possibility. Zeno never implied that Chrollo is stronger or even as equal as him. He basically said that the fight would last longer if Chrollo went all out. In case you didn't see this fight scene properly, it literally lasted less than 2 minutes and Zeno let Chrollo live cause he wasn't gonna get paid by the Ten dons who hired the Zoldycks to kill Chrollo. They are the best assassins in the world and strictly professional. They only kill when money is involved.

Its different. What Zeno said is if Chrollo goes all out the fight would last longer, not that Chrollo is stronger in any sense. Remember, Zeno compared himself with Netero, he said that both him and netero are like Ying and Yang, but Netero always has the upper hand. Netero will literally stomp Chrollo without much difficulties, so easy to say Zeno who is close to netero will do the same

One thing ill say about HxH is that they didn’t really do much with the phantom troop once the chimera ant arc started they just disappeared. They had some really good characters and could’ve involved the

But it's the same story for the most part.
The troupe doesnt have anything to gain in the chimera ant arc. The only thing they could probably give a care about is their hometown, which they did, and got rid of the chimera ants off it.
And some people said Chrollo is not strong because he needed prep when fighting Hisoka.

I wouldn't think so. I think it has to do something with the book. I mean if he gets killed or dies and you get his book, then maybe you could do something about it.
That’s not how the ability works… he can steal abilities while the person still has said ability if they die and don’t have nen that grows stronger after death then the ability goes away but that said the abilities can be used both by Chrollo and whoever he’s stealing the ability from simultaneously
Now that I’m thinking about it sometimes nen can gets stronger after death so if his hatsu was active as he died like hisoka then chrollos ability probably could do something far worse than just keep their abilities, but like shizuku said it seem more like a death note because most people who’s abilities he steals ends up dead most of the time.
Later in the manga it's revealed that when the owner died the the technique disappears from the book but there are rare cases when nen techniques don't disappear and infact get even stronger after death. The phenomenon is called postmortem nen and during the gon vs pitou fight we see this phenomenon with pitou's death.

Zeno never said he would win vs chrollo, you cut the part Zeno actually says this: i would win ofcourse, unless you would be serious in fighting then that would be a different story.
I didn't really have a way to gage how powerful any of these 3 were during this fight... it wasn't until the chimera ant arc when Silva kills Cheetaru that it really sunk in that Chrollo and Hisoka both are as absurdly powerful as they are. Zeno was able to give Cheetaru the warning before Silva murked him, which means Zeno is obviously much more powerful and perceptive than Cheetaru. By extension, bringing that information back to this fight, that means that Chrollo is strong enough to realistically fend off both Silva and Zeno in a true fight, considering his only goal during this scene was to steal their abilities and Zeno admitted that if Chrollo wanted to kill him, that he'd probably be able to do it. And that means that Hisoka is roughly on that same level, since Chrollo v Hisoka ONLY went the way of Chrollo because of the preparation time he was allotted. That's insane to think about. And Hisoka has been toying with (and realistically helping him develop as well) Gon forever just because he can see the potential for a Chrollo-level fight with him in the future. So many questions now on who the top 5 nen users really are with all of that information being available, especially with Netero admitting that he's not one of the strongest anymore, and hasn't been for a LONG time.
The Phantom Troupe leader hold his ground against two Zoldycks top assasins. I think Killua has a chance to win if Chrollo hasn't prepared for the fight.
