The platter wall art looks very sophisticated and the bands of green paint at the top and bottom of the vase adds just the right touch. You did a great job with all of these!
Primer allows paint to stick better to surfaces like wood used for outdoors, glass and plastic. I use primer before I paint plastic, otherwise it can peel.
Primer is essential in many cases. I found this particular primer doesn't function well as such. It does much better as traditional spray paint. I assure you, it doesn't peel, but then again, I always use a top coat seaer on my projects so maybe it would otherwise.
@@craftcrumbs I can't spray paint in an apartment because of the overspray. The primer I use is left over from when I was a contractor. It's called Zinsser 1-2-3, but a quart would be too expensive and too large for your purposes. Every paint brand makes a primer, but I don't know what they make for crafting.
So you're an expert painter! Funny you should mention 1-2-3 because it's my preference but went with the cheaper brand and as it turns out I still don't have a primer in a can. Lol. I do have a quart size for projects I can brush it onto. Thanks for sharing! And thanks so much for watching and taking time to write me. Appreciate you ❤️
Love the wooden trees the most, but the vase is so pretty too, and the ice bucket tree stencil is really great, I think I liked it best before the gold outline, but like you say, make it your own, thank you so much for sharing your crafty talents with all of us. Have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
Beautiful projects! Oh how I wish I lived in a state where I could spray paint and seal in December. I always think I will plan ahead and spray paint things I will need in the snowy months. I live in Minnesota so between snow and temps too cold to spray paint leaves maybe 6 months if we’re having a warm year. I just love your videos and creative ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Beth! I live in Pennsylvania and it's cold here too. It's definitely a bummer when it comes to spray painting. I set up shop where the pets don't have access and then closed the door by me lol. I'm glad you love what you found in this video. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love that last Christmas tree too. That is awesome.I'm gonna try and find some of those Christmas Trees and Do That with it.I have an idea to put it where I have my dear and put it next to all my dear
Fancy Schmancy…😂😂😂😂 Breaking out the technical terms I see. 😂 You cracked me up throughout this video. I love that tree vase. Yes, I pronounced “vase” correctly, as in, just the way it looks, not “vaz.” 😂 All of your projects are beautiful. 😊
Hi Melissa, I'm always excited to see what you are creating, and I'm never disappointed. My favorite is the ice bucket. She's so pretty. Oh yeah, I never get tired of rub ons.😁 ❤😊Linda
Hey Kathy! You can use decorative napkins, tissue paper, scrapbook paper, magazine clippings, cotton, or any fabric you have available. The possibilities are endless, but these are some of the most common options. Thanks for your question!
I think it's beautiful that you're starting your crafting journey and happy to answer questions. I forgot to mention in my other comment that you can also find and print an image you find online to use. Just find something that makes you happy and go wild with it 😁

Amy Vanderbilt says that any centerpiece should never be so tall that your guests can't easily see each other over the piece!!
Yes, we must listen to the queen of etiquette. Lol. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@craftcrumbs I was hoping that someone would actually know who Amy Vanderbilt was!!
All I can say is whow.
Awwws thank you!

Thank you so much!
What can you use instead of rice paper?
Hey Kathy! You can use decorative napkins, tissue paper, scrapbook paper, magazine clippings, cotton, or any fabric you have available. The possibilities are endless, but these are some of the most common options. Thanks for your question!
