How To Play Last Christmas by Wham!

- Various parts of Last Christmas. Sounds:
1) Intro: Roland Juno-60 (or JP8) strings + stacked guitar which could be a DX7 rather than a real guitar
2) Chords: Juno-60-strings
3) Bell: Juno 60 or DX7 (which is used here)
That intro is amazing
I recently did the intro of Last Christmas using the Jazz Guitar patch off a DX7. I've not played it perfectly to prove i wasn't miming and to do it my own way.
This christmas I'm re recording the Pudding Mix intro using the Jazz Guitar off the DX7 again but with the Juno 60/106 strings
Yes the version I was looking for too. The actual song
I am back again for this year.
Интро просто волшебное ❤
Finally! The version I was looking for!
Pudding mix!! My fave version of last christmas.
Could you please do some covers of “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”, “Like a Baby” & “I’m Your Man” by Wham??
This is such a beautiful song I love it so much
Keep em comin! Love your 80s covers
Awesome tutorial. I'm going to try this on my LinnDrum and Juno 60 tonight!
Thanks. I think that's exactly what they used here besides DX7:-)
@@Luke48 they didn’t use a DX7
@@Luke48 they made it using only a Linn Drum, Juno 60, a bass guitar and some sleigh bells
please make long version
The bell is actually a Juno 60 too. I know it seems a Dx but it’s a Juno
Yes I think you are right. The bell here is slightly less digital sounding and has some typical analog short attack TVF filter.
@@Luke48 yup. I get the exact sound on mine. Chorus helps a lot
Thank you so much!!!!
i cannot see a single note he is hitting lmao but im determined because this is the only good version ive found
In settings, change playback speed to 0.25x, that might help
Love it
Hey i loved ur piano playing...could you do can you feel the love tonight by elton john..plzz

Where do you find him
Its possible to send me for my Roland Fa06 🤗
And othetquestion
One incredible Sound in Everything she wants how create ? It s like a ring 2:01
3:10 maybe with juno?
I have patch for wham bass but its vert light about your creation 👍🏻
It's been 5 years ago so don't remember, but see earlier comment here: "I used 2 Fantom X6 patches: on right channel 2-Way Sect (PR-B 103) and on left channel Poly 3osx Sx. In original recording probably just 1 or 2 Juno string sounds. This is basically an analog string sound with sharp attack."
Also check the description for the videos. It does typically mention how I created the sound including the 2nd video (lists the bass Fantom preset sound).
@@Luke48
Thanks for your answer
I dont know why it s always complicated to recteate a sound at this time with different synth maybe a patch will be include all
I swear bundle of sound of Wham😆
Thanks for you react bro 👍🏻
What's the synth sound you used for the comping part? Is it a standard fantom x sound,
I used a string sound and then decreased the attack (pretty much any string should do). I believe original is a Juno 60 sound with similar type of programming.
What keyboard is this?
the desc says dx7 idk if you knew already but i hope it helps after 9 months of neglect lol
Can you do The Heart Is Not So Smart by DeBarge?
Luke48 2) Chords Is that string sound from Roland fantom x or from another sound module or vst? THanks
I used 2 Fantom X6 patches: on right channel 2-Way Sect (PR-B 103) and on left channel Poly 3osx Sx. In original recording probably just 1 or 2 Juno string sounds. This is basically an analog string sound with sharp attack.
I remember you posted another song by wham. Everything she wants what happened to it I can’t seem to find it.
Looks like it's now blocked by youtube unfortunately:-(.
@@Luke48 rip.
nice
Could you tell me which notes you play with your right hand from 0.25 secs onwards for the 3 parts of the main melody? It's hard to see because it's a bit fast to copy. Trying to learn to play this myself...
You can slow down 4x in youtube. In settings there's speed' where you can set playback speed. Or download video and you can playback frame by frame
Can you do
Al B Sure - day and night pleaaassee!! :D
How did you get this juno strings sound? Could you tell me how it's made?
You can find Juno 60 VST online (i.e. TAL). But this sound is pretty straightforward and could be created with any analog synth. Set ENV attack to 0.
Sorry for So many comments but do you have maybe samples of this sound or could you tell me how to recreate it. I got juno60 Vst whats now?
It's been a few years so I don't have a sample. But just go through the presets and find a string sound. Then if needed change the envelope attack to 0 to get a sharper attack sound.
@@Luke48 thank you very much
It is a DX7 guitar
