    I never really realize how much I use my hands when my horse is dropping his shoulder. This helped a lot, definitely gonna work on it!

    Great, really needed this, just a few more different tips from a pro as well! Me and my girl have been struggling lately (should I say me, never blame the horse) and she takes turns really tight, but I get sidetracked and pull her to go wide around them. So this will help in many different aspects, thankyou!

    I have a question! So my horse is a speedy barrel horse but she has one disadvantage. She doesn’t turn her neck around the barrel, making her hit the barrel. Her neck isn’t stiff, it’s just her not want to turn her head. Do you have any tips? 🫶

    Do you have to have a quarter horse to do pro rodeo? I have a quarter Arabian would I be able to do pro on her?

      @barrelracingtraininghelp  4 года назад

      It’s not really a requirement but you do have to fill your card to go pro snd if you don’t have something that can compete at the top you won’t be able to go pro with that horse:)

      I am by no means a pro, but I might be able to help. Make sure you have the barrels down good while trotting, then take them at a lope, keeping the turns really wide. Then you can gradually start slimming them down.

    Can you do a video for separation anxiety? When I take my horse for a ride and I start going back he will NOT stop, I feel bad cuz I pull so hard on the reins and he still won’t stop, I’ve tried many different bits and a hackamore, I’ve been doing weeks of ground work and it still doesn’t seem to help.

      HI Katie! Have you had the horses teeth floated recently?! Usually if they are wanting to forget about you as a rider and they wont stop no matter what you do there is usually pain in there mouth with there teeth.
