Every project in this video was beautiful. I want to do them all!!!❤ I spied a magazine rack on the floor. Can’t wait to see what you do with it. I have one sitting in my kitchen waiting for the right idea.
Thank you so much! And . . . the ends of the magazine rack will be in Tuesday's video! The rest of the pieces will definitely be in a video soon as well. :)
I’m in Tacoma Wa. I actually grew up in Yakima. I call the drive to Spokane the butt burner 😂 I just got a booth in a antique mall. I love all of your ideas. I’m excited for your website to start!
Oh no, I see snow on the ground again by the sidewalk. YUCK! Gal, those pillar holders turned out fantastic. The little foot stool is a very close second. Thanks for such wonderful little tricks and hints on products and how to apply them. Question on the Prima redesign, how hard would it be to "vine" it around the spindles? Have a wonderful Wednesday and raising the coffee cup to you.
Yeah, we got even more snow yesterday . . . blech. I am so ready for spring!!! And the issue with "vining" the transfers is just the backing. Because it's pretty stiff it would be difficult to do on a rounded and detailed spindle like the ones on the tables . . . BUT . . . . that's not to say with enough determination it couldn't be done. I think straight legs would be a lot easier, though. :)
I noticed you always use oil wax and I love the way Your projects turn out. I have never used oil wax and wondered how durable it is say compared to a polycrylic?
Thank you! And it depends on the paint - I usually use the solid waxes to finish DIY (or mineral based) paint, and the oil waxes (which are liquid) on the milk paint. I have tried the oil wax on mineral paint and didn't like it, so it's not something I would do again. And you can use wax on the milk paint, but I like the way the oil wax soaks in to seal it (because it is a harder, less porous paint). I hope that helps . . . .? :)
I love the little tables but wouldn't have bought them as the underneath portion looked rather messy. Is there a particular reason you didn't paint underneath? Just wondering.
I am getting there little by little. My goal is to have all of my products available on my website to be shipped, but I haven't had the time to sit and figure out all the logistics of actually shipping something yet, haha.

Loved all the transformations! Why do you use oil on some and wax on the others to seal them?

Hi Rachel...do you ship? I'm in Tucson, AZ. If you do, how much is the little bird bath? Thx.
