I'm trying to find the ultimate accolade to bestow on Jonas Kaufmann for that performance. "Stunning, magnificent, phenomenal, genius, masterful, powerful, outstanding, magical, beautiful, brilliant wonderful.." Yes, he was ALL of these, yet these words are still not good enough to describe the very great artistry of Jonas Kaufmann. I'll just sit here and weep with emotion at the privilege of seeing/hearing such a moving, inspired interpretation of Otello and witnessing this fantastic. world-renowned Tenor in action. Thank you Mecely for posting this.

Concordo con lei e penso anche che Kaufmann abbia tenuto ben presente la lezione di John Vickers, meno invece quella di Del Monaco.
