For Retinol any simple toner can be used or it can be skipped too. While using glycolic acid toner hyaluronic acid serum or just moisturiser can be applied. Don’t use any active.

Always use glycolic acid or any exfoliating serum or cream in the pm and follow up with a sunscreen on the next day

Face wash doesn’t turn anyone dark. I’m using the same face wash. Focus on what serums & spf or moisturiser you use.
