Rammstein are without a doubt the best live act I've ever seen. Proper performers. None of this "how are we all feeling?!" stuff. Just an incredible performance and a simple "thank you" at the end. Their props are amazing - feuer frei and pussy are great for this. If you ever see a band, even if you're not into the music that much, it's such a performance that anyone can enjoy it. I brought a mate to one when I had a spare ticket - stereotypical hipster, never listened to rammstein before - thought it was the best live act he'd seen too.
I've never seen rammstein live, id love to. but I'm a heavy metal guy, but the best performance I've ever seen was Blue October, they just had a performance that made you fall in love. like rammstein I can feel the energy even through a video
I've not seen Blue October either so I couldn't possibly comment. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder. I mean I could never enjoy a performance of Cradle of Filth or Slipknot, no matter how well my mate says they play because it's not my thing at all. I'll check Blue October out though. I enjoyed Wolfmother too when I saw them, people I'd recommend (they broke up though) for the sheer enjoyment they exhibited in playing and performing, making up for their comparative lack in funds for props and so.
2019 German stadium dates were all sold out within half a day, and even the additional sets, now there's only the European dates left and they are also close to running short...^^
I can't afford to go to Europe to see them or I'd prolly be tied with you Tillhammer. I'm just really glad I got to see them. No other show I've seen comes even close to comparing.

He never shows off too much, he always thinks of the song itself first. Incredible sense of rhythm, accents he makes during the songs are just outstanding. He is really the perfect drummer for this band.

I've been watching and listening to Bands since 1970....Some greats among them, but this Band are excellent. I may be 58 years old now, but its nice to know that they can make me feel like I used to 43 Years ago. I don't understand the words, despite help from a few German friends....but who cares?.....Its great music!
