I'm so proud of Owen cause he's said in the past that he was too nervous to do stuff like SNL and it makes me so happy seeing him kick ass hosting tonight
He seemed a bit nervous but he channeled the energy into a great monologue.
Dude, did anyone else see that scowling girl in the back with the pink guitar who had zero excitement for any of the jokes? All the other band members were smiling and she look fucking miserable. Take her out SNL!!!

This was the most down to earth funny monologue on SNL ever, he wasn't rushing at all and was calm out there. This felt so natural

Owen Wilson has that aura about him doesn't he? In my opinion I honestly think that he is probably the 2nd most relaxed and easy-going actor in Hollywood only after Keanu Reeves. I would love to meet and talk about life with both of them.

This is one of the best SNL monologues I've ever watched. Most of the time hosts try to be down-to-earth and it's so obvious that they're trying, but this right here is what it should be like. -- Oh hey, it's a good review, read this Owen!

That’s part of why I think he’s a actually a solid actor because he’s just one of those actors that can play those Everyman roles, he just seems like a regular guy

That's Andrew, the oldest, he played "Future Man" in the movie "Bottle Rocket" and is the most laid back brother, away from the spotlight...😊

Wow, someone doesn’t like madtv. And no I wasn’t kidding. I would’ve respected SNL for the first time in a long time if they had the balls to do that. SNL panders so hard it’s ridiculous. I vote left and I find it annoying how much they pander to the left.

Yeah - it’s refreshing every once in a while, but give us a monologue. I feel like I haven’t seen a monologue in forever.
A lot of times they do that, I think, when they're worried the host can't pull of a decent monologue otherwise.
I think they're doing that more due to COVID restrictions (can't have too many people onstage unless masked).
Owen nailed the monologue. He is such a talented dude whose personality just makes whatever he is performing delightful. Love everything he's performed in.

I always watch the musicians in the back to see how they react LOL. I really enjoyed it tonight because they were truly laughing instead of the forced smiles they usually have!

Really nice job by Owen Wilson...guess I shouldn't be surprised but he has a better live comic presence than I might have thought. Didn't try too hard... just seemed to be himself...ending up being a wonderful combination of reflective AND funny!!!

Owen and Luke Wilson are both such wholesome actors and people. I just loved them both in all the movies I've seen of them. Just awesome to see them both again and wishing to see in some great new films in the near future.

I'll always remember Owen from Shanghai Knights and Shanghai Noon. He and Jackie Chan had amazing chemistry.
I met Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson in Rome because I live here and they were on vacation. We chatted for about 10 minutes. Great guys and they had a good sense of humor. They were on bicycles and sped away when the crowd gathered to watch us. I also bought an Xbox for Spike Lee because he didn't speak Italian. and had coffee in a cafe with a group of super models after a shoot. Rome is a great place to meet celebrities. Anyway, love Owen and wish him the best.
I've met Owen a few times and he's always been so nice, sweet & supportive of my dreams. For real! We would talk about my passions. God Bless Him!

Beautifully executed monologue. He made it effortless. Owen is a national treasure. Loved him in Darjeeling Express, Midnight in Paris, Meet the Parents, among others.
Owen KILLED it. Shame SNL hasnt gave him a shot to host years earlier. He should def be back, great monologue. Dude is naturally funny, good energy. Him and Rami Malek need to host again, hella funny episodes as of late except the Kim K one.

Weirdly, this was almost cringe worthy of, please don't let Owen Wilson fail. When you like someone, so much as a person, and you know they have struggled with their own life and decisions, you really don't want it to go down in flames.
But then I thought, no matter what he does or say, he will succeed, failing or not, people love him as a person, and that's enough. And this was great. Of course it didn't fail, it's Owen Wilson and his equally awesome brothers.
I remember when Owen tried to commit suicide years ago, and I see some similarities between him and Robin Williams. I hope he’s doing well with his battle against depression. It’s so easy to hide from the public.

Robin Williams (R.I.P.) had also recently been diagnosed with Dewey's Dementia. Although he admitted to being bi-polar I never heard about him being suicidal. Dewey's Dementia is a death sentence and he knew it. Hopefully, Wilson will remain healthy in body as well as mind.

This is one of the best monologues of all time. It's 100% in line with his vibe and personality. Perfect fit for Owen.
Genuinely one of the best, and most beloved celebrities around. And, it is so wholesome his brothers showed up to support. I am fan of him and Luke since Bottle Rocket and Royal Tennenbaums.

His Gambling joke was executed PERFECTLY
The way the words just nonchalantly flow out of his mouth is what makes the joke funnier. I hate when comedians tell a joke and says the punchline and you know they are expecting you to laugh but the gambling joke just breezed right through. You know it's funny but Owen was just moving through it.
Charming and well prepared. He was having fun. That's the most important thing.

Owen Wilson needs to become a member of the 5 Timers Club. This was a great and funny SNL. The cast is superb, the writers were on point, and Owen is excellent at live comedic theatre. This one will become a classic.
