is the ryzen 7800x3D a good upgrade from a ryzen 7 5700x?, I Bought the 7800x3D a new cpu and a new psu and new mob i have a 4070 and i just upgraded from am4 to am5 32gb ram at 3200hz to new ram at 32GB 6000mhz, im only asking bc you did a video with basically my specs in a previous video.
id just go from a 5700x to a 5800x3d instead and wait a little longer as there isnt really a good enough way to fully utilize the 7800x3d rn and it would be cheaper for u to keep the same board and get a 100+fps boost

@@TheRealTrimbri tf u mean bottleneck. The i9-14th gen a more powerful cpu in terms of productive processing, which is definitely NOT a bottleneck for the 4070. The ryzen 7 7800x3d only beats it in most games in performance gain due to the 3d cache tech
i watched a video by "reki benchmarks " he was playing on 1440p had the same cpu as you but instead had a 4080 , the gpu upgrade shouldnt matter much in fortnite since it is already cpu dependant but he was playing on a higher resolution compared to you but was getting more fps and his minimum fps did not dip below 360 fps
U have no idea what ur talking about. Just because a game is cpu dependent doesn’t mean the difference between a 4070 and 4080 won’t matter lmao. The 4080 is 2x the price of the 4070 pls delete your comment

it will be fine but there is no point paying thay much for a pc unless ur gonna use the pc for editing/work
Get the ryzen 7 7800x3d instead, it’s cheaper and offers more frames in cpu bound games
CPU bottleneck for sure, I would definetly consider getting the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, it goes perfect with a 4070 TI.
