The building you went by with the arches over the entrance that you mentioned looked new, is a hotel we've stayed at.

These days, October is still high season and crowded in Greece and southern Europe. We spent a very enjoyable month one January exploring Athens and the Peloponese although small hotels didn't have much heat.

tirana 30 years ago had good urban planning, wide streets and alleys. what you see in this video is what happened in Albania in the last 30 years, this is democracy.

Happy Monday Mr. Indiana Jones 😁
The old town of Tirana is a maze. The old homes hidden behind the high-rises are a night and day view. Just as you said; “If those homes could talk” Think about them allies where war was done against the Nazi Germans back in 1943-1944. Most of old Tirana has disappeared..Sadly 😞
Stay Safe, Keep on Discovering and Stay Dry my friend.

Hey Patrick. Regarding the market you were at in the last video, Chris Forte took you down one side of it. The two of you were on a road that goes Rr Kavaja to Myslym Shyri.

Yes ! I thought so ! But wasn't sure. Looked different. But shops like that can change day to day. I was so locked on to what Chris was saying i didn't pay attention to where i was going. Im taking April back today. She wants to do some shopping. Not supposed to rain today.

“Normal” is a good word to describe it. In Albania, often feel like “this is how it should be.” People just living their lives and respect each other. I’ve stopped looking over my shoulder when the sun starts to go down. It’s a strange feeling. But a really good one.
