Wow this made my Sunday! This is in fact my car. I won’t call out any names of etuners or other shops out of respect. Every shop involved definitely did good work and made things right when they went wrong. The etuner in question tried their best but it’s hard dealing with ecu issues remotely. It came time to take to Blueprint to have hands on work and tuning. Believe me my car even gave them fits. It’s a weird use case but we all learned. I do intend to change some things on the car but want to drive it for several months to make sure no more issues. Blueprint and BD have been amazing partners in this car. The communication from everyone was top notch as well as their work. No high pressure sales but did make suggestion along the way. The customer service was the best I’ve dealt with. Do NOT hesitate to go to Blueprint and BD with your car. They don’t shy away from tough issues and they do not overcharge or tac on ancillary items. I will be bringing this car back next year for re-adding Mivec and for a bigger turbo setup. :)
I love the thought of having variable cam timing. It’s nice having a good powerband. But what would you benefit from just deleting the exhaust gear? (Other than replacing failed gear actuators)
Gennari hadn’t released that single scroll yet when I bought that a year and a half ago. I likely would’ve went with it. What kind of power you making with it?
Advamce intake gear 1 degree if its a magnus.. we did 527hp 402 trq on a 25g stock sst trans with s1 cams fic 1440 8 percent clucth pressure car rips nice and a daily no slip dynojet we just installed a fan on stock trans cooler
Debating between a G25-550 or a G30-660 for my MR; you mentioned the AGT turbo felt laggy, what do you think of the spool characteristics of the Garret parts would be on an MR? The car is mostly built for HPDE/Time Trials with a stock engine and transmission, so goals are 420-450 tops on a safe tune. I'm sick of dealing with bolts backing out on my MHI, so vBand is next.
It was a combination of fuel pressure, wideband (and the previous tuners inability to diagnose that), which caused a chain reaction of failing plugs which caused ecu to freak out. And cam install wasn't correct.
@@richardknight1258 BD really has a mind for this. I do software projects and integration trouble shooting for a living and he approaches weird issues like I do…. As a challenge and a learning opportunity.

Nice setup man, I have the same setup but use the stainless steel housing. I love it
@@RalliFart Thank you! What kind of numbers you running with that?
Thank you for those kinds words. And we are here for u, no matter what. We have support.
Great to see an MR on the channel. The sst is an absolute beast when built properly.
I love it
I love the MR videos. Makes me excited for when i do more upgrades to my MR.
Glad I could inspire
man that sst can be a nightmare, but pulls really well and launches hard. nice message at the end
Always a pleasure tuning in. Keep up the good work
Thank u

Nothing other than hedging against failure
Gennari FTW
Basically same setup I have as well, need that single scroll housing for all the boost!

Def would , if we did the head work, not gonna touch that for liability purposes.

What was the issue? So we can understand and deal with if we ever faced the same

How much whp on pump with that turbo ?
Is it chet or chag it would be good to know for MR owners?
Chet is very knowledgeable with SST, Kozmic will vouch for him as well.
@@RalliFart thanks for the reply
I didn’t know sst got down like that
I c u tuner papi
Thank u
BD, why you did not push the torque? The final numbers seems like the stock clutch can handle easily. Since the car has the 12 disc kozmic
It's hard to , with no mivec. And I don't wanna use boost or timing on low end to increase torque
I want to convert my lancer 2.4 Manuel to all wheel drive how hard is it and if it can be done?
How do I rate difficulty?
😂😂😂😂😂😂 much love BD
Your vid coming soon
Who was the etuner? To stay away from and don't let me fall in his hands
