- I built the DIY non destructive book scanner . This scanner is very easy to build and practical scanner to digitize upto A5+ size book. No special tool is needed as this scanner made by foamed styrene board . iPhone is used as cameraand image quality is good.
電子書籍制作用に 非破壊型のブックスキャナーを製作しました。特別な工具がなくても 本体がスチレンボードで出来ているため カッターとサンドペーパーがあれば 簡単に制作できます。撮影にはiPhoneを使用 光源の位置を工夫したため高画質です。

Most videos I saw where bulky solutions, involving a pair of cameras, counter weight, levers, and so on. Then I reached your video and smiled: your solution is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for this design of book scanner. I was looking for similar design that can help me scan book without destruction. Based on your design I built an inverse design where book is always on the desk and one has to lift scanner and place again after flipping the page. Initially I was bit hesitant to use this design as low light might not give clear picture, but I turned out to be wrong. I used Samsung S9 for taking picture and then ScanTailor Advanced. Getting very perfect images to create PDF and get printed pretty old books. Thanks once again for sharing this idea ..

Another words its a Reverse Tv. Instead of projecting the image to the center. Your capturing the image from the center. Pretty smart. Ayo Hawwah Great Spirit Bless.
Great design. The only change I would make would maybe have the camera looking down so as to see what it is shooting on screen and maybe use a remote blue tooth triger for camera. Definitely going to build this or something close useing your basic ideas. Thanks.

Do you have a downloadable PDF of your plans.? I see them scrolling by as you watch, but it would be much easier to download the PDF and make full size templates from them. Would you please make a link to download the plans? Thank you

本が軽ければいいが、ページが多いとか、何冊もやると腕や肩が痛くなるのでは？
英英辞典のように紙が薄くてペラペラだと、本を裏返す時に紙をシワにしてしまうおそれがありそう。

アルミによる反射と光源がセンシティブで
ページ間（山になる部分）の露出オーバーになってしまい
調整に手間どってしまいました^^
結局アルミを乳白色のプラ版に変更して調整しました
ありがとうございました
アルミの裏側を 黒く塗るの 動画では載せておらず すみませんでした。経験されたように アルミからの反射が 誌面に当たりコントラストを著しく悪化させます。 艶消しの黒にされるのが画質的には良いです。

Which app do you use on iPhone? In the standard camera it is possible to fix focus by the long press, but not possible to fix exposure.
