I remember i started watching glee in my drama class in high school senior year. When we had days where we had finished presenting our skits our teacher would put episodes of glee on. I remember watching the show thinking it was funny but what really made me stick to the show, like it, and not feel like it was a girly show, was Finn Hudson (Cory). The "cool kids" in class would leave to the other room which was like a lounge and just sit there and talk and fool around. I remember my friends would leave and I would stick around. I was part of the "cool kids" but i didn't care about my image after watching a few episodes of glee. I felt like i was Finn in a way. Being in the wrestling team and being kind of popular and here I was in a room full of "nerds" and "losers" enjoying glee. It sounds cliche but Glee taught me many things. I have an open heart now and I don't judge people. I am optimistic about life and truly cherish who I am and I have learned to embrace every moment with family and friends that I love. My favorite character in the show was Finn (: and he will always remain my favorite actor. I'm going to graduate from uni in one year and here I am.. still a gleek. Forever a gleek. I hope I get to meet you some time in this circle of life. Rest in paradise Cory.
