I found PMT in prison. Can’t even begin to describe the connection I have with this show and the AWL family. My life has changed drastically for the better and the one constant has been this show. I seriously “love you guys”
In 2016 a friend of a friend came into the bar I was working at and told me I had to listen to this podcast, PMT. Shoutout to that guy. It’s been a hell of a journey. Congrats you guys
The impact this pod has had on my life can’t be overstated. From laughing through the tough weeks to celebrating the great ones, you guys have been a constant-and, Big Cat, you’re truly the voice of Chicago sports. The way you break down everything that happens with the Bears, Bulls, and Cubs is something only a true fan can do. Thank you for what you do-it really does mean a lot. 8x AWL since I was a 16 year old and now 25. Love you guys
@@TheVCudiI don’t think anybody knows what they actually make, I do honestly think they say that just to mess with people and because it gets asked all the time
PMT, and Barstool, is a huge part of my weekly routine and makes it feel like I'm with the fellas, having a beer at our favorite dive bar when in reality I am just driving to work. Dudes rock and God bless PMT and AWLs
Became a listener the day before Covid shut down my sophomore year in highschool. Now I’m a junior in college and for the past 4.5 years this show has been the best part of my walks to class on Monday Wednesday and Friday. Love you guys
That’s funny, the day before Covid shut everything down I stabbed myself by accident with a knife while working at Panera bread. When I was in the ER lobby bleeding like crazy, I was looking for a podcast to listen to to distract myself from all the coughing people around me who probably had Covid. I found PMT on the same day you did 😂 “wild” as Jake would say
My best friend Meade introduced me to PMT on a road trip in like 2018. He’s no longer with us, so keeping up with the show helps remind me of the humor and interests we always shared. Much love fellas, here’s to the next 10 years 🍻
This podcast is so special to me because I work out in the woods where nobody else is, and so when an episode comes out I immediately download it before going to work. During the day while I listen to it I will actually talk back, yell, shout, laugh out loud…whatever while listening to this show. Big Cat has said that if he were to describe his job to someone it would be a person that anyone can hangout with, and he’s so right. Been listening to this show for about four years now and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that these past four years have been the fastest of my life so far. Love you PMT
Started listening to this show when I was hired for my first job out of college, I hated that job, but Pardon My Take gave me something to look forward to on my hour commute. Much love to to you guys!
PMT recorded an episode in my apartment in Nashville in early 2017, on the way down to Houston for the Super Bowl. Hard to comprehend how much has changed since then - while somehow staying exactly the same.
I listened to the very first episode driving to a class in medical school because I wanted to hear what the mysterious PFTCommenter sounded like. Been listening ever since- PMT has been there through all the big life events: marriage, 2 kids (lots of late night listening!), new job, new city. Thanks for the many years of laughs, PMT!
Thanks for all the memories, fellas. You’ve got me through some really bad times with laughs and unquestionable takes. Love you boys. Thanks for letting me know about daylight savings every year and setting the clock forward this time of year.
There’s nothing like this show. Every morning drive to work is now something I look forward to. Getting stuck in traffic barely sucks when these guys are on the radio. The worst part of the week is on Tuesday and Thursday nights when I don’t have any PMT left
Had a couple of buddies that introduced me to PMT in late 2016. We would go to one another’s place and just get stoned, listen to PMT and laugh. Love you Sam and Kovac, can’t thank you guys enough for bringing me to the light
Thank you to Dave, big cat and PFT. Haven’t missed an episode of PMT since inception. Big cat, PFT, hank have brought an immense amount of joy to MWFs. Greatest show on earth. From all the AWLs - Love you guys.
Summer of 2016, sitting in a bar airport in Colorado Springs waiting for a flight, started downloading a bunch of podcasts to listen too on said flight, downloaded because it was “new” under sports. Boys thank you for the couple hours x3 a week.
I thought my internet went out a couple days ago. Then I kind of realized this is probably what happened. Somebody pressed the button too early bing bong
I’ve been a listener literally since day 1. I had graduated college December 2015 so in January 2016 I took this terrible job with the longest commute ever & to pass time in traffic as well as during the day I was listening to sports podcasts. I heard PFT on The Right Time with Bomani Jones as a guest and was sold immediately. The guy was hilarious and the name Pardon My Take instantly stuck with me since I was listening to ESPN literally all day. I went and subscribed that day, heard the first episode & haven’t missed one since. Hank and I are the same age so it almost feels like we’ve grown up together lol I’ve met the guys a few times over the years & each time they’ve been as awesome as they seem. Loved to see the story behind the BEST PODCAST OF ALL TIME & looking forward to continuing to grow together as guys just being dudes 🤙🏾
The impact this pod has on my life is nuts. From my darkest days they’ve helped me through hell. Just listening and laughing. Whether it was the Lenny dykstra calls or max having an absolute meltdown. Awl since day 1. Just want to say thank you
What a journey...I was hooked back in the day when Big Cat did the "MACtion Live Game" and of course, Piss Dogs, Vanny Woodhead, The ESPN episode in the middle of the night, the Canadian guys (Todd and Gordo). So happy for you guys. You deserve it all
I started listening to PMT when I was in sixth grade and I’ve come to realize that’s it’s been the most been the most consistent thing information my life over the past eight years. It’s been there for me during a parents divorce, a terrible break up, and especially when my mom passed away. I still remember my mom and I during long road trips listening to guys on chicks and jimbos. When I had no where else to go, PMT was always there and i can’t be the only one, so from all the AWL’s thank you for being there when no one else is
My buddy Jeff told me about PMT about a week after the first episode dropped and have been an AWL ever since. Thank you guys for all of the incredible memories over the last 9 years. Love you guys ❤️
Served an LDS mission from 2015-2017, got home and stumbled upon PMT that summer. Haven’t missed an episode since, had no clue how much the pod would impact my life from the friends I’ve made and conversations I’ve had because of this podcast. To the moon!
Started following Barstool when I was in college in 2016. Found out about Big Cat and PFT and though they were hilarious. Didn't really listen to podcasts much until I had a surgery in 2018 where I could do nothing but lay down all day. Started listening to the pod and haven't missed an episode in over 6 years. Thank you guys!
i found PMT while working landscaping. even when i found them during summer episodes i loved it was best parts of week was getting to put wired apple headphones in, listening, and getting to work. love these guys they have lived the life of the every day man and that’s what makes them different.
I was listening to my local Houston sports talk station when they had PFT as a guest back in 2015. He was so unhinged and hilarious that when I heard his name it was hard to forget. Started to follow him on Twitter and when I saw him again it would be a few years later after PMT was a thing. I hope you guys keep doing what you are doing. Already counting the days until the next Mount Rushmore season. The fastest 2 min is iconic and the pods covering The Last Dance really helped through the pandemic. AWL's for life.
This was such a good watch, was just thinking the other day we need a PMT documentary. Would love to see more! First show I listened to was baker mayfield after being drafted no.1 and been listening ever since. Love you guys, from an AWL from Scotland.
Found the show in 2018 in college. Got me through some hard times and I haven't missed an episodes since! It's crazy to think lol. Was such a kid at that time and now I got a wife and kids but I'll NEVER outgrow PMT.

After I watched this the first time it was posted (its okay to finish early max), I went back and tried to find when I started listening to the show. I genuinely don't remember when or how I found the show. My younger brother who was in college at the time maybe? But either way, I think it was late 2016, which is way earlier than I thought. The guys have just always been a part of my life for nearly eight years, and I am so thankful for it. It's been a wild ride, thanks boys (and jilly).
One day I was in my buddy’s car and he turned on pardon my take. They were doing the fastest 2 minutes and pft did a joke about the dolphins that was something to the effect of “the (I forget what team) murdered the dolphins this Sunday like a bunch of Japanese fishermen.” I bursted out in laughter and my friend was like “they’re funny right?” Been listening ever since. Made my early days as a pipelayer a lot easier listening to them. Thank you PMT.

PFTs guitar collection is something that i really am interested in. Dude appears to be into vintage guitars. That fender sitting next to him looks crazy
