CHOP IT UP V6 should handle it believe they are rated at almost 6k lbs... main difference will be passing power but should not be an issue ... they have special pricing right now so check V8 price they usually give more money off on the Hemi and you get a better suspension the MPG between the V6 and V8 isn’t much difference because it’s a heavy truck... the V6 has Plenty of power in GT model it’s real nice.. happy hunting
Hemi has 2 spark plugs per cylinder (16) and the crankcase holds 7 quarts of oil. Pentastar is only 1 spark plug per cylinder (6) and still has adequate power for moving 5k lbs. The pentastar is known for issues with the upper part of the engine, but usually are problem free beyond that. :)

I have a 2014 Dodge Durango AWD limited. I don’t have the button to switch between 2 wheel and awd. I’m assuming mines automatically kicks in?
Yes I think the locking differential was New for 2016
Im pretty sure the 2 speed transfer case was only offered on the 5.7 L models
I have the 2015 AWD limited and there isn't a selector switch for me, it's full time AWD with limited slip diffs.
