Such a great tune! While this is quite a faithful reproduction of the Black Mages arrangement, somehow the drumming energy is turned up to 11. LOVE IT!
ngl, I hope you all do a version of Price of Freedom from Crisis Core if you haven't already. It's my personal favorite sound track in the game franchise imo.

Received my copy of Tales From Other Worlds, and it's very different from the first. Where Shuffle Or Groovy was a slightly off-the-wall tribute to Final Fantasy, Tales is more of a straight up tribute to The Black Mages. It might lack the craziness of the debut, but a lot better and more mature production, and definitely lands home with Black Mages fans who could do with "one more". Plus, very brave move to throw in a couple of the trademark ballads in there, those are really well done - never liked Eyes On Me before (mostly because it stalled the game at a critical point, haha), but i am ready to change my opinion on that now. One day when you get brave enough, i would love to hear your take on Aria Di Mezzo Carattere, but take your time, and keep the good stuff coming!

Our next album will be a mixture of the craziness from Shuffle or Groovy, and the polished and mature metal approach from TFOW, so it will be much more original. Thanks for the Aria di Mezzo suggestion, there's an old live vid of Beatrice singing it live but we actually never thought of recording a proper version of it 😂
Aria di Mezzo Carattere would be so much up to musical interpretation that you could work on it - i figure at least some of you have knowledge of music in theory, you sound like it for sure. It was only ever performed live - to my knowledge - at the Final Fantasy festival in Stockholm, Sweden, about a decade ago. The question is, is Beatrice up to it, and can you find a good arrangement of it? Stay Chocobo, my friends, KWEH! and good health!
Sorry for our late answer! We played live Aria di Mezzo Carattere some years ago (there should be also a very amateurish video of that version), maybe we should consider arranging it properly and record it in the future!

Next time you need to turn the keyboards up a bit more in the mix, they don't really punch through enough considering that's the main melody. Otherwise great job.
