Well although the OS might have some bugs, but surely the SOC of A52s is better than A53. I really love the memory management done by Samsung in A53, where they suspend heavy application and allow lighter application to stay in memory in heavy loads. In A52s its opposite, all application are suspended be it light or heavy when u stress its ram. It is a very good method to boost those tiny capacitors on chipsets on A52s.
I own A52s and really love it.
I bought probably the second last A52s in Melbourne Australia about 3 weeks ago. (I almost left it to late. The price was also reduced.) All the major retailers had moved onto the the A53. I don't want anything in my ears except fresh air and wax. This why I chose it, (ear phone jack). The speed difference seems slight, not important to me; I don't play games on a phone. Speed test is just one of many way to judge a phone.

it's about performance look how laggy the A53 this is no match and not fair, Samsung is just selling a slower phone for a more expensive price.
believe me i had the A51 it was lagging soo bad, now i switch to A52s which is just blazing fast and now i discovered that Samsung A5X serie has still the same performance issue.

Probably to scam customers who think higher number always means better but actually a53 has cheaper components than a52s and costs more.

Exynos CPU didn't perform as well as Snap Dragon as many of us expected

Unfortunately, the A52s is not officially sold in my region, only parallel import, and that means no warranty, otherwise, I would pick A52s over the A53.
Such a bad move from Samsung, the Galaxy A52s is one of the best device in it's price range because it completes all the pillars of a great smartphone.
I personally used the regular A52 for 6 months before giving it to my girlfriend and I loved that phone more than my iPhone xs max.
Maybe it's a little early to compare the 2 phones, A53 definitely needs some updates and patches to stabilize the system. then knowing samsung A53s will also be released
What part about the A52s having a much more powerful processor don't you understand? It will always be faster than the A53 and software can't fix that. If anything the A52s needs an update since the one ui 4 update slowed it.

@Serkan Çayoğlu A53 simply can't even run Call of Duty in highest settings with highest frame rate, meanwhile A52s can run it flawlessly at Ultra graphics and highest frame rate, there's no such thing as games optimizing for the SoC, it is physically underpowered and inferior in every way to 778G, stop making excuses for crap SoC.
Although 778G in the A52s is by far the better SOC, it would be better to do a comparison test after allowing the OS in the A53 to settle in for a week. From the stuttering seen in the A53 it seems the OS is still not settled in.
A53 stutter because it has crap exynos CPU, that's the whole fault.
If they used mediatek dimensity or snapdragon then it would be fine

@@damara2268 With Samsung Optimazation Module, Mediatek Processors are actually far worse in software optimization then Samsung Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon. In One UI, percieved performance impacts the usage of inner parts of the software whether its a first-party tool or third-party tool.
In addition, in same grade Exynos and MT Helio/Dimensity series, Exynos will be far better.

I can't even BELIEVE how laggy, and slow this phone is compared to 150 dollar phones.
The Exynos chip is so, SO bad. Battery drain, and terrible performance.

There's alot more to compare than just the processor. One thing ive noticed is that A53 has better camera quality than the A52s .
I think it's exactly the same camera chips, A52s CPU wins, plus the A52s have a jack ;-)

It's the same cos camera quality depends on the software which on both is the app from oneui 4.1 (or better use GCAM)
@@roulioz A52 has a pretty bad battery compared to A53 or A22 even, I had A22 and it had an amazing battery that could last all day. And the difference is only 500mAh yet A52 doesn't hold for long like A22 does so yeah.. A52s is pretty dominant in CPU but not in battery and a few factors here and there. Not saying 4500mAh is bad of course it's good but depends on what you aim for really (battery or better performance)
For me it's just a good battery that can last the day due to a lot of times me not having an outlet near lol and that it doesn't lag, A52s may be faster but A53 doesn't seem like it lags so yeah

The A53 looks a bit slow and laggy when pressing the home button while in app, meanwhile A52s just go straight to home without any delay. But A53 got better RAM management. I wonder can the A52s battery last longer than the A53 5000mah battery 😏

A53 got LPDDR5 while A52s LPDDR4, thats why multitasking is better on a53
But A53 5G has no headphone jack or 15 watt charger in the box

A53 is not successor of a52s it is successor of a52. A73 is the successor of a52s.. 778G more capable powerful than exynos 1280..
The Exynos processor is not performing well. They should continue to improve that. The Snapdragon is a bit faster than Exynos processor that they have on A53

A52s is kind of an anomaly. It was released because Samsung ran out of snapdragon 720g that was used in A52. A53 is a successor to A52 and exynos 1280 is better than snapdragon 720g in both performance and maybe more importantly battery life. Also it will have 4 years of os updates so I think it's a great phone. I know it doesn't come with charger or headphone jack but maybe it's not such a big deal, the 25w charger is like 20$ and some basic wireless earbuds are about 30$
I listen to a lot of long podcasts so I can't deal of hassling around with wireless buds that's gonna need constant recharging I'll stick to my A52s 5G which has been great so far.

For example, I used to use A51 with Exynos 9611. I was very satisfied. but when we looked at its rivals, there was snapdragon 720/730 against it.that is, the chips they will use in mid-segment devices need to be strengthened a little (compared to their competitors), otherwise it is fine exynos 1280
