FF1 the maid was in love and she was forced to die, conclusion the apocalypse FF2 the both sisters loved each others to the point they wanted to stay together forever, they got separated and the conclusion the apocalypse FF3 Rieka the shrine maid saw her bf getting killed before her eyes when he visited her to chat a bit the conclusion apocalypse FF4 ......tbh I kinda forgot their story but what I know about it had to do something with mirror's and with rituals again anyway conclusion apocalypse FF5 the girl loved the guy but she had a duty when she accepted her sacrifice someone killed all 5 shrines maids and she felt like she was left alone and she needed someone to hug her again because of her lack of love conclusion apocalypse FF1 she touches you , instant death FF2 Sae / Kusabi touch you instant death FF3 Rieka touches you, slowly freeze to death with tattoos FF4 one look at her face instant death FF5 you look at her eyes and she'll force you to suicide FF1 the shrine maid just wanted someone to calm her down and remind her of her duty to shut down the hell gate FF2 Sae just wanted her sister to come back, and perform the sacrifice together without leaving anyone behind FF3 Reika wanted to be bale to sleep in peace without having to remember her bf's death all the time FF4 .. again I can't remember because the story wasn't that clear FF5 the ghost just wanted someone to conform her so she gains her sanity back nothing else FF1, FF2, FF3 , FF4, FF5: when you begin the game "die now!!!!" , when you get bad ending " why the hell did I play to begin with it anyway? screw it! damn it!" , when you get happy ending " oh my god! that's all what it all was about .. awww she is very poor i'm glad I could help out .. ohh i'm sad for what happened to her but i'm happy I helped her out!" very great game specially for a console like Wii U thanks very much for recording thanks for the good ending now i'm satisfied! Invisible In FF4, they tried to perform the lunar eclipse ritual thingy but they had the wrong music. Conclusion the mask cracked apart, the ritual failed and the conclusion the apocalypse. It wasn't until Ruka, a tsukimori maiden descendent thingy got the proper music left by her mother in her old house, that she was able to play the proper music and complete the ritual. So it wasn't really epic true love that caused FF4's ritual to fail. Still there was some kind of twisted sibling romance between Sakuya and You Haibara present nonetheless.
Honestly I agree. But somehow they don't look that much different from each other. Maybe because they were done by the same team, and most of the young ladies starting to look the same. I know it sounds racist, but I wish they give them more realistic appearance in future games, like Forbidden Siren. I think they actually use real actors as models, but that's just me.

so in order to get the good ending you have to 1. know that you have to beat the boss above water and 2. get a glance during a very, very small window in the above water phase. I wouldn't even know you can glance above water if I hadn't read about it.

I love project zero5 so much, I don't understand why it's the least liked game in the series. It has an amazing story and everything! Thank you for uploading this because I got the bad ending.. 😅 so I had to replay the whole thing. It is worth it though. And the ending song for project zero 5 is probably my favorite fatal frame ending song out of all the others!
Getting this ending was a major pain in the ass, I just couldn't do the final glance on her, it took like a million tries. But it was totally worth it.

Above the water (where she looks human) and under the water (where she looks more like a monster or something and it's all black and white). I believe you start fighting her under the water. When you take away all of her health, do NOT use the final glance on her, or you'll get the bad ending. Wait until she transforms to her second form, fight her again and then use the final glance QUICKLY BEFORE she transforms back to the other form.
Well, she doesn't change on her own, you have to take away all her health. Try using fatal frames as much as possible, preferably with strong films to do it quickly

I must say I do love the themes explored in this game, I wasn't at all impressed by the gameplay as it's very repetitive compared to past games in the series. I'd say gameplay-wise, the best for that would be either Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly (the original and it's corresponding directors cut - not the shitty Wii version) or Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented. Still, this game is good and it's a good stepping stone into the series but if you haven't done so already, definitely play the first, second and third Fatal Frame/Project Zero games (The 2nd is quite frankly, the scariest in the series 😁 ).

Ouse fell in love with Kunihiko (Dr. Asou) but she was only supposed to have a spirit marriage after her ritual. However, Ouse and Kunihiko loved each other so much, despite only having just met, that Ouse kept rejecting possible spirit husbands as she wanted to see Kunihiko one last time.

This was my first Fatal Frame because it went to Nintendo. I'm pretty thankful for it. Eventually I purchased a PS3 so I could play the first three. Love this series.
Considering that FF3 almost killed the series due to it's bad sales, it is THANKS to Nintendo that the series still goes on. No matter how much one may like or dislike Nintendo, if you love Fatal Frame, then be grateful for Nintendo cause they invested in and thus saved the series

These games are fun to play but my personal favorite is still Crimson Butterfly FF2. Beat this one in one day exploring the maps etc under hard mode and played nightmare mode right after but it's a shame nightmare mode isn't that much of a challenge when spirits can't 2 hit kill you anymore.. though the character design I love because it's Dead or Alives character designs but sadly Nintendo only made this one for the water and rainy environment effect which was done nicely but still would have been better if playstation keep the series going instead of stopping on The Tormented FF3
Peda Hawj It's funny because in contrast I'm so glad the fatal frame games moved to the nintendo. I've always been a nintendo owner and was so envious when the fatal frame 1, 2, 3 were on the playstation/xbox so I wasn't able to play them. Fatal frame 2 was my favourite as well! I kinda miss the old fixed camera angles and the non-locking on camera lol.

this ritual is just the same as other rituals in Fatal Frame series. Shrine Maiden's sacrifices themselves to keep malice from the underworld to flood into the human world. In this game they call "Yomi" or simply as Black Water.
The ritual failed because the sacrifice (Oose) couldn't bare taking in the pain and memories of those who died. Having the feeling of not wanting to die screwed it up. If it didn;t fail then the water would have been purified but sense she had a thought of wanting to live it made her weak and she was tainted. Those who are close to death are stronger like Shiragiku who said she wouldn't live past the age of 7 which is why she was also sacrificed.
This game definitely had creepy moments and some creepy ghosts, but it's a bit more repetitive than the other games, and I was VERY disappointed with the music...... one of the best things about FF was the creepy dark ambient soundtrack, and here, it's like the same droning backing track the entire game :( I want something at least as chilling as the lighthouse theme from FF4, or Tomoe's theme from FF1
I have only played a bit of the very first fatal frame and it didn't "hook" me. What about the difficulty level. From the looks of that clip, it doesn't seem that hard but that's just an impression. Are the control simple? Complicated?

Last time I did it I had to restart because I ran out of film, since Glancing is such a finicky thing.
Luckily it's the only bad control in the game.

this ritual is just the same as other rituals in Fatal Frame series. Shrine Maiden's sacrifices themselves to keep malice from the underworld to flood into the human world. In this game they call "Yomi" or simply as Black Water.

The ritual failed because the sacrifice (Oose) couldn't bare taking in the pain and memories of those who died. Having the feeling of not wanting to die screwed it up. If it didn;t fail then the water would have been purified but sense she had a thought of wanting to live it made her weak and she was tainted. Those who are close to death are stronger like Shiragiku who said she wouldn't live past the age of 7 which is why she was also sacrificed.

This game definitely had creepy moments and some creepy ghosts, but it's a bit more repetitive than the other games, and I was VERY disappointed with the music...... one of the best things about FF was the creepy dark ambient soundtrack, and here, it's like the same droning backing track the entire game :(
I want something at least as chilling as the lighthouse theme from FF4, or Tomoe's theme from FF1
I have only played a bit of the very first fatal frame and it didn't "hook" me. What about the difficulty level. From the looks of that clip, it doesn't seem that hard but that's just an impression. Are the control simple? Complicated?

It's not just a hug... according to the story, shrine maidens could take someone's suffering and everything bad in a person by touching who's about to die.
