Sorry for the maybe stupid question, but aren't the one playing the great power in Europe(France/Otto/castille) in a position so much better than the persone in india in this setting more vanilla like?
Oh not at all, Asia has MANYYYY more provinces than Europe, so maybe early on they might be slightly stronger, but it will be hard for the long term with not enough provines. Then, there are a lot of new tags across the game thanks to mod, balancing stuff out. We also nerfed some terrain/climate penalties for Africa/Asia to dev easier, while nerfing other dev sources, so it's more balances between the two. I recommend watching my Mewar or Bengal (especially this one) mp campaigns to see how much you can squize out of India, where Europeans will usually have issues. In general with skilled players in both regions, it should be more or less balances, depending on neighbours and how much they can expand
