So it's like the Flash was well before 2020. Unfortunate it (especially the Dr. Nova episodes) wasn't saved.
It's funny, with the way the actual comic is written, there are points where I can't tell if the edited dialog is something you added or from the actual comic.
It's nice that Welker seems to be emulating Music as Garfield.
He worked on the original Garfield and Friends TV show. In “Garfield Goes Hawaiian” he voices a parrot and does an impression of Lorenzo’s Garfield at one point (as well as some…problematic celebrities-fair warning).
The whole thing feels like a strange Garfield fan fiction rather then something official.
6:54 "Online friends are not real friends"? Tell that to my partner whom I met online 4 years ago who flew across the continent to meet me in person, and we loved every moment of it. The Internet can be a powerful tool for good more then a weapon for evil.
I'd love to see an alternate version where garfield teaches you how to pirate movies and hide it from your isp
How come the joke panels fit in well with the real ones 😂😂
Otto the Octopuss sounds like Bat Hero.
Honestly, it would be very IC of Nermal to be Instragram Famous, considering he is "The World's Cutest Kitten!"
Just like Tails, I thought for the longest time that Nermal was female. The eyelashes and voice in many of the Garfield & Friends episodes made it harder for me to tell. Ah well. Good old Garfief. Good old lasag.
you think thats bad? back in the day when me and my friend were playing a brand new Mega Man X game we thought Zero was a girl.. what with the pony tail and all :B
and the chest lights...
I thought Freeza on DBZ was a chick for the longest time, also didn't realize Moose on Pepper Ann was a girl at first.
hey phelan my mom has ALL of that and yes she put the toilet set out every xmas!
Your repurposed comic bubbles made my day. My daily snark intake is now fully sated 😂
I gotta say, the messages in these comics are well-intentioned and delivered pretty well, but it's kind of odd seeing Garfield as the face of these PSAs. It’s not that it doesn’t work, but it’s definitely not something I would have expected.
Hey, I wouldn't mind a Garfield, Arlene and Nermal sitcom like this one, just lose the octopus and bring Odie as Garfield's boss and I'm in.
Maybe Dr. Cybrina should adopt Nermal, due to their shared love of gaming
Interesting Garfield AU
I would love a Dingo picture how to be safe online with Wabuu the cheeky raccoon.
Litter is the social media app? Well I mean the IRL parallel IS full of shitposting, so it makes a ton of sense.
See, just like irl if you make fun of somebody on the internet, simply reply later with something positive and all the cyberharassment will be reversed immediately.
This feels like a comic that would have been developed in 1996. Not 2020.
Odie living with Otto silently whispers *"Call the Police..."*
Otto the octopus? What the hell you mean they couldn't get anyone from us acres?
I wouldn't mind seeing what Roy the roosters Twitter use looks like.
He went offline permanently after everyone called him "Banana Nose" on social media.
Everyone gets an alert from him on Litter every morning at 5am and he gets blocked for doing what Roosters always do.
Love the text edits in the panels you show sometimes. I got a whole belly-laugh out of "Ebay, here I come!" "DAMMIT! Not again!"
I know your Garfield voice is just you being silly, but it's still better than the 2004 one, and the...ugh...2024 one.
Great entertainment as always, Phelan, take care.
and then Cybrina became a super villian
And would later marry Hacker from Cyberchase.
It's always a good sign when Phelan uploads a new video, but now with more Garfield!
Nermal seems way more annoying as a social influencer in the 2020’s than he was just being cute to onlookers back in the 1980’s.
That seems about right…
You editing those comic panels with jokes feels like something you could have been doing on this channel for years, lol. Fits in very well.
I was going to say something mean about Dr Cybrina's creepy lips, but fortunately Garfield taught me about not being an asshole online.
As usual, Phelous is leagues funnier at adapting Garfield than any of the modern media thats come out in the past 20 years
Am I the only person that has been consistently freaked out by Arlene's giraffe neck for like as long as I can remember? It just doesn't look right to me.
Or the fact she’s pink
I like to imagine that she's pink because she's a sphinx cat. But yeah, the neck does weird me out (but the lipstick...yikes...)
They do forget that Garfield thinks what he says, he can't speak.
All the post-Lorenzo Music adaptations do this to, and I hate it.
@@KasumiKenshirou I don't mind in cartoons, but comic strips should NEVER do it.
I remember these there are professor Garfield also fun fact phelous. In the show Nermal got a cousin name Ivy.
And in this universe garfield arlene is roomate and nermal is also roomate. There is Never say garfield is nermal parents
Nermal: "Garfield! My Catbook account just posted a video of Odie dying by itself and I can't remove it!"
Garfield: "It must be possessed by the internet ghost of Ot to, you shouldn't have posted about the party you didn't invite him to."
Nermal: "Oh no! Now I have less than 500 friends on Catbook!"
