you can also ditch the contagion for sonic shock to help the blackwall gateway upload faster and makes the next upload undetectable, you can also spam synapse burnout to a singe enemy to exploit the feedback loop and data recycler bug for basically infinite ram.
That bug got fixed in 2.02. Data Recycler factors Ram reduction now. If you don't care about stealth, triple T1 Reboot Optics into a damage hack I believe is the fastest and cheapest way to get combat hacks out.
@@Boshea241 the blackwall gateway will one shot most enemies, except for bosses like MaxTach, Smasher, etc etc, so spamming 2 synapse burnouts can still give him back 80% of those 2 quickhacks via Data Recycler and extra 80 health from Blood Demon(if he's using overclock), and if you get the level 20 Body perk, every 5 kills you have immediately restores your health item which can help definitely help with achieving an infinite cycle of Ram and Health Regeneration. Blackwell gateway and synapse burnout is the best quick hacks in the game like bro said you have to upload a control quick hack then blackwall gateway it uploads way faster and spreads sometimes it can wipe up a whole building upstairs and downstairs by the time i get upstairs Everybodies dead….
Sonic Shock and Blackwall Gateway don’t go together. If you knock the enemy off the network with a Shock Shock then Blackwall Gateway can’t spread which makes it just a much slower Synapse Burnout.
@@DarkQuaz Blackwall Gateway is PROXIMITY based. It literally said in the quickhack description that " This quickhack spreads to 5 enemies within 20 meters" the sonic shock was meant to make it upload and jump faster and stealthier.
Solid build, I personally chose to go for the Tetratronic rippler because it gives the most ram at tier 5++, while also having great perks and more quick hack slots. I think it’s kind of a waste to use the Militech canto if you don’t use it’s Blackwall gateway. Now, synapse burnout is still the way to go after 2.02, but I found that while in overclock the better way to gain health was to upload 3 legendary **iconic** sonic shocks after the synapse burnout. That is because of a specific perk in the intelligence tree which gives you 40hp back for each quick hack in queue when an enemy dies. This means that each kills grants you 120hp back for the mere cost of 6ram(maybe even less) which is worth it. I also found that having the iconic version of the RAM manager wasn’t that useful, even though in theory it should give you 30% of your ram every 15 seconds, it’s just not worth the extra cyberware points. Instead I went for the chitin which increased health recovery by a whopping 200% and is actually very useful. Try those tips out and let me know what you think!
you make a lot of sense here. the iconic sonic shock also comes at the cost of 2 ram, which is op. I personally like the cyberware malfunction also for it's damage bonus. Works increds on bosses once stacked.
I will have to try the sonic shock method, seems to be a clever trick to exploit. Totally agree about the Tetratronic Rippler. It is the first and only cyberdeck that I buy in a game, and I simply upgrade it at the first chance when doing a netrunner build. I experimented around with a the Netwatch and the Canto, but never felt that they matched it outside of a few niche scenarios. The Netwatch has a slight edge for doing camera hacks when they are available to do so with, and for car combat, but otherwise is outmatched by the Rippler. The Canto is a complete disappointment in every regard, I would literally rank it as the worse cyberdeck in the game, the unique hack is merely for style, and is utterly impracticable due to how slow it is. I can deal far more damage for less RAM using conventional hacks in a fraction of the time, with far better control on how and where I spend my RAM.
Axolotl will also extend overclock duration, and works with blackwall gateway. Fully upgraded to 5++, I was essentially able to maintain infinite overclock as long as there were nearby enemies for blackwall gateway to spread to. Furthermore, if you use blackwall gateway later in a queue, it gains the upload speed buffs and can be almost instantaneous. Finally I'll note most of the iconic quickhacks are broken. For example, iconic synapse burnout will extend overclock duration, but it doesn't get the RAM cost reduction. So for now, I'd say stick with standard T5 quickhacks until they fix these in a future patch.
Killer 60 perk also makes all stealth kills restore 15% of optical camo charge, which stacks with Axolotl's 12%. Combined with Relic perk, this lets you slip in and out of combat and instantly restore camo as long as there are at leats 3 enemies around.
Love the build, similar to what I got going on. One note, because of the buff from the third rank of queue acceleration, if you spam two quick hacks before blackwall it’ll upload 60% faster. So what I usually do to open a fight is ping, cyberware malfunction, blackwall, synapse burnout/short circuit. This chain means that I get everyone pinged, cyberware malfunction causes an increase to damage by 5% and slows any fast runners, then blackwall uploads in 5.4 seconds instead of 9. The fourth one is just to take advantage of blood daemon. Ultimately though, I ended up switching back to my netwatch netdriver because I enjoyed having more than 4 quick hack slots.
I use the same canto but i have body:16 Reflexe:15 Tech: 15 Inteligence:20 Cool:15 for a very versatile build where i can easily respect for a stealth build or be very aggressive and be able to use every weapons. I tend to get bored with same approach at times and with same old weapons. For stealth I use sonic shock, optics reboot, cyberware malfunction, weapon glitch and a burst from the silent smart submachine gun Pizdets. Most go down with one burst or two for the skulls enemies. Pizdets is pretty underrated imo. If i get detected I use the blackwall to wipe the remaining enemies out easily. Pretty OP cyberdeck. I recommend it, most fun I had even beating my palthrough of a sandy build Edit: I forgot about weapons glitch.
@@abrahamsandwichAlso If you use control or covert quickhack and then the blackwall the upload time becomes a second instead of the nine. Makes it 100x better.
I played thru PL with a smart weapon netrunner and the overclock/lock-on synergy perk (whatever it's called) is pretty fun. I'll have to respec and try this build out. I agree that the monowire isn't great - even with the relic perks, it's almost always a faster kill just to use cyberdeck or even cyberdeck and a gun. Charging up the strong attack so you can get the hack to trigger leaves you standing still in front of an enemy like gonk. It's also tricky to get the free hack to chain to other enemies like it's supposed to with the tier 2 relic perk. Maybe it's better with some blades perks but even then I think the core mechanics just aren't as strong as other builds.
The only practical use I have ever found for monowire is quick takedowns of random groups of enemies, such as clearing NCPD missions quickly. Hit one with a contagion as you approach, use a thermal monowire to detonate them and kill the group, loot the bag, and move on to the next.Other than that, yeah, even with all the perks, there is little reason to use them over other methods, especially on Very Hard where you often don't have the luxury of absorbing any extra hits or point-blank shotgun blasts.
monowire isnt for damage its to regain ram by hitting a target and getting hp plus ram from a finisher. with cc quickhacks on an isolated target its very easy to do
if you get the skeleton while using points from edgerunner you're getting less hp cuz thats 16% for 32 points and skeleton gives 15%, so thats 1% less in exchange for 250 armor, which isn't bad but there are better ways to get armor.

great video, i just dont get why you recommend the netwatch cyberdeck since its totally contrary to what youre trying to do (its a stealth camera-based deck), we dont wanna go back to the pre-2.0 netrunner times. if anyhing, tetratronic rippler and/or militech paraline should fit the agressive synapse burnout engine better while you get to the militech canto (legit useless deck imo, still really cool and fun).
For me personally, using just netrunning becomes sort of boring. It's good that the game leaves room for different sorts of plays/players, but just killing everyone by using menu options is teadious. Pre- patch 2.0 I had a sort of netrunner build where I had a cyberdeck which allowed ultimate quickhacks to spread, and would use cyberpsychosis on enemies. So in large groups of enemies, you would have two wild card enemies attacking everyone and then me fighting in the middle >:)
Challenge idea: no chrome (except eyes, which you can't remove) I also used a simple but awesome mod that changes V's spoken language to Japanese. You could incorporate that into some sort of weeb-flavored challenge, or just tack that onto the no-chrome with a katana-only build to make it extra hard (though honestly no chrome may be extremely hard as-is since you won't have any armor).
Unless it was fixed i would not recommend using the iconic Contagion quickhack as its fire explosion doesnt work at all. whether you use overheat or not, you can trigger this by fire nades, fire dmg weapons, or even fire cyber arms
So I see that you’re using tech weapons. In your last net runner last build you put point into that build but not this one. Wouldn’t some points into tech weapons help?
"Ping is such a valuable thing..." My brain: Because things are revealed by Ping It shows you where things are So your quickhacks can hit like a train car You Ping the thing To kill the thing PING! Yeah, I know, there's something seriously wrong with me. But you started it AbraHamSandwich with that Dr Seuss line "Ping is such a valuable thing." 🤣
I see some people have commented already but I would try swapping contagion for sonic shock. It helps with stealth and had several other amazing bonuses.
well at least you tried right? i appreciate an alternate to the blackwall deck, however the netwatch is only available at level 40+. any recommendation at all for a deck before that? currently running the starting nilitech deck upped to tier 2 for the 10% damage bonus. what if anything did you find works for early and mid game?
I could be wrong but I feel like they buffed quickhacks in general because I started a new game with 6 intelligence and I’m immediately destroying people with overheat
is there a reason your nervous system cyberware is blank like that? like i can still select them but on the video it looks like you wouldn’t be able to click it
I’m late to the party, but I just started playing cyberpunk again. I just have the base game, not the DLC yet. I noticed my netrunner build is completely NERFED. My quickhacks don’t spread to other enemies no more except for contagion. And just one quickhack takes up a lot of ram, and the recovery time takes forever… I even maxed out my intelligence and tech ability perk points. But it just feels a lot less OP than it use to be. Is there a way I can fix this?
I am testing a summary bot. I would greatly appreciate if any feedback on how well it works. Here are the summaries for this video: * The video is a build guide for a Netrunner in Cyberpunk 2.0 Phantom Liberty. * The goal of the build is to make a Netrunner that is aggressive and can jump into combat. * The build relies on hacking from a distance and does not use cameras. * The hacking system in 2.0 has changed, allowing for time to slow down while hacking and hacking from a distance. * The build relies on the Quick Hack ability to do a lot of damage quickly. * The attributes and perks chosen for the build focus on health, health item recharge, and technical ability. * The build also includes cyberware to increase health and RAM.
I came up with the exact same build. Not in the mood for stealth builds anymore (I played enough Skyrim in my life) and tbh even with no Cool, I can still hack people like a pussy and stay hidden enough if I want to because Sonic Shock.
I couldn't consider a build where you don't fire a single shot as "fun". Efficient? maybe. Fast as fuck? it could be. But that's what my boss asks me to do at work. 😆
Well, with the attribute layout, and if you abuse the perk glitch or console command on PC. You can mix it up with Smart, Tech, and melee weapons. Especially shotguns, LMGs, and blunt weapons. There are bonuses to using smart weapons with hacked enemies so if don't want to hack only you can initiate a few quick hacks in just a second and them shoot everything with your choice of smart weapon to clean house. While being tanky with adrenaline rush and the feedback between quick hack, smart weapons given health back per kill.
@@VanTesla very good, and noted. 👍 I understand that this build is an exaggeration and a suggestion applicable to certain specific situations within the game. But no one mentally healthy considers spending the entire game this way.
Pain To Gain just doesn't do much. +20% recharge speed on health item cooldown(conditional on kills)? That seems pretty weak for 5 Attribute points + 1 Perk point.
It helps a lot with getting more health and in turn ram. Before getting the perk I had a lot more situations where I’d have to wait for a bit for healing items or health to quick hack again.
@@abrahamsandwich I am not saying it doesn't do anything. It works. But the cost of Pain on Gain is 5 Attribute points and 1 Perk point. That is just not worth it. There are much better things you can do with those points than add +20% health item cooldown. My general critism of the 20 capstone perks is that they are often quite weak and not worth the 5+1 cost(particularly if you are going for only 1 of the 20s on the tree). The 3 INT 20s are all excellent. For TA, Edgerunner is manditory for all builds, TickingTimeBomb is outstanding, and ChainLightning is OK...ish(the AoE is too small and conditional). For Cool, Nerves of Tungsten-Steel is excellent, and while RunNGun is sorta Mid, and StyleOverSubstance is way too conditional to be useful(the name of the perk gives it away). For Reflexes, SaltInTheWound is terrible(the conditional makes it nearly impossible to proc); SubmachineFun might be useful for dual SMG builds, but the way SMGs blow through ammo makes this not that useful a strategy(when fighting larger groups you will run out of SMG/Pistol ammo before the fight ends); Tailwind is sorta 'Meh', and Slaughterhouse is almost completely useless(99% of enemies will die before the buff even comes into effect). The Body 20s are just sad! RipNTear requires you to break up your shotgun attacks with 50% melee attacks in order to proc! Bizarre! Onslaught is for LMGs only and no one sane uses LMGs as a primary weapon(They are way too inaccurate beyond point-blank range and are thus a huge waste of ammo). FinisherSavageSling is another style-over-substance perk that is entirely a roleplay perk that only exists to make the player feel cool, but actually slows down the speed and efficiency of combat. I already mentioned PainToGain so there is no reason to beat a dead horse. The tree 20 perks should all be monster sure-thing must-haves for a particular build type. Except for the INT's and Edgerunner they are just...not.
His build is all over the place. Combining netrunning with katana's which does not synergies at all. For example the Optimizer provides 100% crit chance with quickhacks. Then he uses Cockatrice Optics and Stabber for crit chance purely to kill MaxTac easier with katana's. Also katana build wants % melee damage on cyberware and netrunning wants % quickhack damage. By combining these two playstyles he is handicapping both builds. Pure katana build with Sandi and Axolotl is currently the strongest setup to kill MaxTac.
Honestly, I just did a netrunner play through and it was so overpowered. So freaking overpowered, honestly the challenge of the game was reduced a bit to much. I would rate it the best build bar none in cyberpunk, and also the most boring. Rush 20 int. Which you can do before the heist mission in Watson. Use Sonic shock and synapse burnout to kill everyone

Challenge idea: no chrome (except eyes, which you can't remove)
I also used a simple but awesome mod that changes V's spoken language to Japanese. You could incorporate that into some sort of weeb-flavored challenge, or just tack that onto the no-chrome with a katana-only build to make it extra hard (though honestly no chrome may be extremely hard as-is since you won't have any armor).
Literally just did it, I’m editing the video now and should have it ready in a couple days!
@@abrahamsandwich hah, nice
Unless it was fixed i would not recommend using the iconic Contagion quickhack as its fire explosion doesnt work at all. whether you use overheat or not, you can trigger this by fire nades, fire dmg weapons, or even fire cyber arms
I more use it to lock enemies down for a sec like I was saying.
So I see that you’re using tech weapons. In your last net runner last build you put point into that build but not this one. Wouldn’t some points into tech weapons help?
If I had more points absolutely, but I find I don’t need or use them much.
Love your vids I tried your shotgun build I just changed the phantom liberty shotgun to the sovereign shotgun.
So that cyberwear is why I one shot hansen with synapse burnout on very hard
Yup!
8:40 what is the background track, some badass deep house?
I actually made the beat for my videos. I have it on my sound cloud under Abraham DiMare!
@@abrahamsandwich nice!
can we have the slides of face of your character? Its pretty nice
You should use the Yinglong...... although the arasaka smg you get in dogtown is more accurate
"Ping is such a valuable thing..."
My brain:
Because things are revealed by Ping
It shows you where things are
So your quickhacks can hit like a train car
You Ping the thing
To kill the thing
PING!
Yeah, I’ll have to check it out!
well at least you tried right? i appreciate an alternate to the blackwall deck, however the netwatch is only available at level 40+. any recommendation at all for a deck before that? currently running the starting nilitech deck upped to tier 2 for the 10% damage bonus. what if anything did you find works for early and mid game?
Awesome build but it’s ways to make this stronger, for weapon use fire and use contagion quick hack and watch the explosion
I imagine with the right gun yeah, but I didn’t try it too much.
Yup the shingen smart weapon is amazing
I could be wrong but I feel like they buffed quickhacks in general because I started a new game with 6 intelligence and I’m immediately destroying people with overheat
try yinglong and the krezhnikov air glide ability. its so fun
AWW YEAA Rip 1k Quick hack damage
AWW YEAA!
You can tell the modders by their flickering screens
oh i didn't take edgerunner on my netrunner build because more hp was always worth more
is there a reason your nervous system cyberware is blank like that? like i can still select them but on the video it looks like you wouldn’t be able to click it
Ugh the new netrunner builds are a pain.
Over clocking is the best way to get to being overpowered again! This build uses over clock a lot!
CYBERWEARE
I am testing a summary bot. I would greatly appreciate if any feedback on how well it works.
Here are the summaries for this video:
* The video is a build guide for a Netrunner in Cyberpunk 2.0 Phantom Liberty.
How is your cyberpunk running on pc? Mines is crashing on lunch lol
They need new game + like yesterday
I understand that this build is an exaggeration and a suggestion applicable to certain specific situations within the game. But no one mentally healthy considers spending the entire game this way.
does blood pump count as an health item?
Yes
Oddly enough you always have great builds however why are you quick hacks so few? My Cyberdeck has double your number.
It’s the iconic cyberdeck I’m using. It comes with a special quick hack!
And I thought baisgame netrunners where brocken
also how do u dodge
I use the alt key. It feels the most natural to me!
I have the same atrebutes😂
Post 2.0 netrunning is such a tedious chore now
I dont know why you'd use the Blackwall Deck when you dislike the Blackwall power. All the other decks have greater benefits and more quickhack slot.
I like it enough to use it!
God hard nerfed, no?
I tell ya if you the the infinite perk points glitch you can max out all the skill trees you have maxed on 20, coz why not
T7 PDM is the closest one to the best netrunner build. You are too far away, unfortunatelly.
I enjoy building out netrunners but I always get to a point where I get bored by it and go back to my other builds.
No shame that drone on very hard is a hassle do deal with
I think my "build" with stats and skill points in useless spots that still uses blue tier guns is better 🥱
Is it?
