Beaches is definitely one of the top reptile channels on RUclips, How he doesn't have a couple hundred thousand subs blows my mind. Keep up the amazing work mate! I know I watch every video I can, And re-watch them often!

Great video, definitely educational, especially for new people coming into or looking at getting into the reptile world like me 😊

I love it! Enrichment is as important as nutrition imho. My sister's bearded dragon is natural but I just added more logs, planted leafy greens in bowls and a ton of magnolia leaves and sacrificed some isopods for her to chase.

I have a play pen area that is 56*56" with another bit added in, filled with wood, stuffies and big cat toys and balls. Both dragons watch tv, the cages set up for tv watching. And bonus, the cats watch them and get enrichment. Lots of open window time as we live in an apartment and they spray, so the 3rd floor windows are it.

Great idea here, looks fantastic and probably much much easier than doing the whole living plant mess that I've found just kick up humidity too high and end up dying in the extremes of our terraria. Top video once again.

My bearded dragon is bioactive but the plants are leafy greens sowed in or grown kratky and planted in. I also sow microgreens in too. Cuc includes two kind of isopods, superworms and mealworms and springtails. I also seed the tank with bsfl, that eat and grow huge for huge flies.

My anole is also bioactive and she also gets bsfl seeded as she loves the flies too. The amount of cuc keeps her watching all, I will also leave a tropical nature show on for her.

My bearded dragon is very food motivated too. That's why being bioactive is perfect for her as she only gets lives feeders two times a month as she gains quickly...lol

Certainly important to not overfeed them hey.

Hi Luke! I absolutely love this idea! Are you not worried about hitchiking bugs or outdoor diseases from the cuttings you add? Especially for bioactive enclosures?

It can always be a risk but touch wood, I haven’t had a problem so far. Generally I’m taking such small cuttings off areas of plants that would be hard for most reptiles to hang onto. I’ve certainly brought in a few bugs doing this but it’s mostly ants.

With the hopping mice enclosures are there specific branches /plants you use? Just thinking about anything to avoid if it’s toxic. Do you wash them first or just put them in as is? 😊

Generally I just use gum branches, hay and grasses from my yard.
