@birddogfreemann Dj Kool (Who was from DC, which is down the street from this club) is being mixed with More Than a Feelin by Boston. That was the trip. The Nirvana drop was 'the switch' to get people back to the set. Hip hop turntablism got big in the early 90s and 'Let Me Clear My Throat' was one of the bigger oldschool tracks that got attention from DJs, thus "The Trip".
it would be interesting, in a synchronistic way, if, during the playing of the roof is on fire, some electrical haphazard actually caused a fire and burned to death all the hedonists as if the song is a Satanic chant (originated by Rockmaster Scott) with ztrip as the grand wizard conducting the seance of drug and alcohol infested, lust, desire, sonically possessed garbage (house of pain).
@ledero5 is this the only form of criticism that you can possible muster? And regarding acquiring proper grammatical structure, it is advised that you provide adequate evidence to substantiate your claim. By the way, your four word, two sentence structure is no valid indication that you possess any advanced understanding of proper syntax nor any justification for the request. Thanks for your concern, regardless.
He wants the audience to recognize what He considers good music and in so doing, he legitimizes his own self-worth. He poses the question about whether the audience is Old school and then He negates the validity of his own question by lack of concern in the topic He generated in the first place. What exactly was "special" ?How it REALLY works is the promoter "hires" the dj to perform for the paying audience, and the dj has a contractual obligation to act.
@MalleusDUB "the Switch"? Are you inventing terminology for mixing and/or attempting to embed greater significance to "The Trip" that he takes his listeners on? Regardless, it was a SHORT trip, boring, at that. His selection has ALWAYS been his weakest link. His attempt to take the listeners on a sonic trip (not some simplistic geographical reminder that engenders the mainstream crowds enthusiasm. His subtle and superficial use of crowd psychology apparently works with the mainstream.
@ledero5 obsessed and proper grammar are two different categories of your critique and appear to be mutually exclusive. hate being spewed on every page isnt sufficient nor justified indicator of improper grammar. Your obvious backtracking and shifting lines of reason indicates contradiction and severe instability regarding your primary comment. Maybe YOU dont make sense, grammatically or otherwise as you have additional confused criticism with hate.
@birddogfreemann A quick look at your page and I need no justification, you are clearly obsessed with this man. Is there a z trip video you haven't commented on? If I'm going to see your hate being spewed on every page, I may as well request that it make sense grammatically.
@MalleusDUB Yes, of course. I don't think I'd comment so ardently if I had no knowledge/experience on the subject. your dj slang terminology is quite amusing (the switch, decks). Actually, you may be projecting your limited capacity to write/comprehend coherently hence your frustrated animosity. You sound quite indignant.
a trip? how does he define "trip"? What is so special about playing Nirvana? or House of Pain? Obviously, He considers this audience mainstream, one that He can regurgitate "good music"? Obviously, He and the mindless audience are incapacity to engage in the manipulation someone engineering a listening experience and dictating how individuals (and the group) should respond.

@birddogfreemann Honestly, I think I speak for everyone when I say that I just find you annoying.
