Hi, while I'm grateful to the playlist could you please confirm that the 1:19:20 song is in fact "Placebo - Sekret Chadow"? Because after I type that into youtube it's a different tune. Please help, the bassline is so fucking beautiful and I've been searching for quite some time now. Edit: I see now. The track isn't listed and is between Devastate - Skool Of Thought and Placebo - Sekret Chadow. Please, if you know, share the name of song and artist. Thank you.
This is a great mix. Lots of good breaks tracks, some nice contrasting different styles, well mixed and all good quality. Liked and subscribed. Thank you! :)

Nice mix mate. Where does the UK breakbeat term come from? Been listening to progressive breaks and atmospheric breaks for years but only just seeing this UK term, just wondering
So the term breakbeat comes from the origins of the style where samples of drums taken during a "break" in the song. As with all genre categories they can be a bit loose but UK breaks are sort of a more Big Beat type of break as popularised by Fatboy Slim or the Chemical Brothers to name a couple. There's definitely a bunch of atmospheric and progressive breaks in the mix too but the lean was more towards the more UK big beat style when I was putting this together.

I've got a bunch of tracks ready to go but the day job gets in the way! I'll just have to say "soon, and it'll be worth the wait" 😄
If you don’t mind mind , which program did u use to create those sound waves and viero
This one was done with shotcut, free and easy!
@@MikeDoesMusic Hey can I ask, is it possible to compress a mix's sound levels via Shotcut?
@@chriscambridge5737 I'm pretty sure there's a compressor available in the audio plugins.

I replied to one of the first comments with a tracklist, I'll copy it out and pin it
What's the track name around 1:19:11, its after devastate but before placebo?
Somehow got missed when I was sorting the listing out, it's Primordial by Plump DJs, I've updated the track listing.
Track around 33 minutes?

This is breakbeat like I was originally introduced to from fabriclive CDs in the early 00's, maybe you're looking for some drum and bass instead?
