What a great informative video! I'm so glad I've found you. You talk about technique then apply it to an art piece, well done! And the 🐀, hims is so darn cute hanging out under the 🍄 I absolutely loved your art. You have a new subscriber! And you deserve to have so many more! I'm sharing this video and the other two in the series.
Its so interesting to see this technique, it's very different from my own. I like chunky bold marks, not soft blending. But it's amazing how versatile markers are. I'm falling more in love with them!
I adore how many different ways there are to use alcohol markers (and any medium really!) - there are so many styles that can be achieved. It's why play and experimentation is so important!
I noticed you use the red erasable pencil to sketch it, does the alcohol make that red pencil bleed into the color? Because I noticed since I started using arrtx markers that it tends to make my black pen liner bleed a bit!
They don't bleed, in fact that's why I use them! Standard graphite pencil will smudge heavily with the alcohol ink but I use both Prismacolor col-erase and Ticonderoga brand and neither of them smudge or bleed with the ink. For liners, some will bleed with alcohol ink (guaranteed if they're water soluble) so I tend to do my line work as my last step on top of any ink.
I’m so thankful u are doing this series!
I'm so glad, I hop you find it useful!

ExCuSE me, I'm halfway through the video and you haven't once referred to the markers as 'juicy'. Unfollowed, unsubbed, unliked.
Love you, Kay
LOL I'll have to make sure I include a 'nice juicy tip' in one of these videos JUST FOR YOU.
