Someone asked Calvin to comment on 'Big Fish' (the other song that Zhou Shen collaborated with JJ during the same concert). I'm unable to find the official video of 'Big Fish' on JJ's RUclips channel (perhaps due to copyright issue as this song does not belong to him). Instead, I found several videos of this song recorded by various individuals but the quality of recording is not so good. I believe professionals like Calvin will not use these unofficial videos for commenting purpose as the sound quality is lacking and thus may render some of their comments inaccurate.
Don’t use Zhou to compare with JJ. It’s a different category. Without JJ composing all these songs, you think Zhou has many more songs to sing . He is actually an opera singer, but cross over to modern songs due to market demand. JJ can sing forever n still in demand as he can always write for himself any new songs as he wished. Zhou already said he wants to be like JJ in the future, so he still has a long way to go. Pls look to JJ as a mentor.

Not all Zhou Shen songs are suitable for him to sing but he did his best (afterall, he had to sing about 30-40 songs consecutively during each concert and yet he could still pull off high notes). In the same manner, not all JJ songs are suitable for Zhou Shen to sing. For example, I do not think Zhou Shen can match JJ if he sings 'Cao Cao' or 'Practise Love'.

JJ should have chosen something more suitable for himself to collab, consider his own ability and length of his performance, and not had butchered 大鱼 😂 his tone, style and technique unfortunately cannot match the song he chose, apparent to ears like yours and mine. As much as it is not beautiful to listen to, still, credits to JJ for the effort and kind thought no doubt. Still hopeful of an analysis from a vocal coach who can talk in depth of the different interpretations and techniques, other than just pointing out the high notes. And then maybe the average audiences can appreciate deeper than the obvious, of how the collab turned out the way it did

懂創作不是與生俱來的，首先要學習一，二種樂器，而學好一樣樂器沒十年也要八載，如果沒有時間金錢加努力，也難學得好，更別說作曲了。林俊傑的童年應該是有家人照顧，有時間有金錢有耐心去栽培。反觀周深，年紀很小已經是自己照顧自己，起居飲食返學放學生病看醫生都是自己一個人，哪有多餘時間精力去學樂器音樂。雖然輸了起跑線，但他沒有放棄，一步一步走到今天。倆位歌手各有各好，不喜歡都不必特意留言啊！
