- My final animation with my Star Wars Snowtroopers as seen here:
• Star Wars Snowtrooper ...
The animation isn't the best and from time to time, the models are floating over the ground or sink in too deep. But well, thats the only way you learn and I will fix these issues next time.
Created with Blender 2.73

It’s detailed, extremely accurate, and I love it.
But they way everything is moving? BLAH.
This is an amazing piece of work, I love how close the leg animations on he Walkers are to the classics!
Thank you! :)
What? Are you serious?
This is a magnificent work. Can't stop watching it. I particularly like the AT-AT's and AT-ST's.
AT ST's were always my favorite because they walk faster than their AT AT relatives and turn around much quicker to kill their targets
Cool you must of put in ALOT of time and effort into this keep up the great work.
Thank you! I will release my first short animation movie soon :)
Blind Illusionist Cool
I agree
HOLY
THIS IS AMAZING
I want to learn blender to solely make this kind of stuff
Is that possible? How can I learn in hopes of making an animation like this???
Thank you. There are tons of free tutorials how to get started with Blender. Just search on RUclips.
Blind Illusionist Because of you I realized I can make any Star Wars animation I want... This is all I will do with blender! Thank you! Lol the powah of blender will allow me to make things I imagine.
We want an update!
I really love to see the snow troopers piloting and operating the AT-ST walkers. It really suits them perfectly. 👍👍👍👍👍
For The Empire!
wow, that was truly epic!!
Really nice models and the animation is great too
SO AWESOME!
I'd love to take a look at your meshes. especially those at-at. I also can't stop looking at the at-st walking animaton, the entire thing just looks awesome.
Very cool! The first shot is very fond.
SO AWESOME
That was really cool
So Awesome!!!!
That is great work man. Love that AT-AT in the bright fog! Such a good shot. You'll be working at ILM before long if you keep improving at this pace!
+Sam Bivens Haha thanks! That would be beyond awesome! :D
The only environment where the Empires completely white/grey color scheme makes sense.
It's really good
Very nice!
Excelente trabajo!, 👍.
bravo.. I would like to know what machine you use for rendering, and how many years total time for the 52 second final. That is awesome work man.
More! More! More!
(And with video, I have subscribed and shared)
When did both have trees?
Wow!
Good job m8
well done ;)
This is good. Stormtroopers are a little stiffs, walking is a bit weird, and the AT-STs are a little too tall but it is a lot better than what I have seen.
nice!
great job. would love to learn animation but just no time.
"The Rebels may have won this battle, but the war will be ours."
-Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Awesome! But I noted two moments. When first walker move his front-left leg it passing through front-right leg. And in the first scene walker legs appearing very long.
this is actually real footage i saw it on my way back home
If like to see them come out with a snow troopers star wars movie
Need more :D ♥
cool
WOH! that is cool! I hope you do fix the problems though, but still looks awsome
Thanks a lot! :)
Awesome! and now... the making of?
wow this is incredible is something like this possible to render without a render farm
WOOOW
I like all of the tie fighters flying by, but they feel too looped. If you spread out the spacing and timing a little of each tie fighter loop it will have a much nicer feel to it. Very nice animation.
Not seen the ground crew uniforms for AT-ST pilots? *Return of the Jedi*
Can you do a how to video on how to animate the legs of the crawlings machines
its cool !!! How long did it take to render ?
Thank you! It took about a week to render out everything :D
Please make modeling tutorials. You have a lot of skill to share, thanks for all the tuts so far!
+Claus Bohm Thanks a lot! I'll see what I can do in the future!
WoW!!!!
Where did you get These amazing At-At's? Or are they by yourself? Great Animation!
Thank you! I did everything myself.
Blind Illusionist Awesome!👍👍
"Is that an mg42?"
If you're using Cycles, how many samples have you used?
Everything is sharp and clean (maybe too much) and there's absolutely no noise.
Good use of the mist to give scale to the scene. That's a classy animation!
Thanks a lot! Mostly I used 150 to 200 samples. For the last scene, I lowered the samples as the camera was moving backwards because I looked the same with less samples. I also noticed that you do not need as much samples for an animation as you need for a still image.
Yeah, that's right.
Also, one trick I learned is to type ''#frame'' in the seed box... This makes the noise dynamic and it changes frame to frame. It looks more like Film Grain and therefore you can reduce the number of samples.
Loïc Fontaine-Boivin How is this working? What is the seed box?
On the Sampling panel, there's the Seed value. Simply click on the Seed button and you should be able to type '#frame' on the field.
I found it. Great, never heard something about this option. Thanks alot, I will test ist

What capital ship model is that??? Was that composited in or what?? You are very skilled!
+Ben - Thanks! It's a Star Destroyer. It is not composited, just rendered together with the other objects
+Blind Illusionist 0.o wow. That must've taken awhile to render. I tried to UV unwrap a 1.4 million poly landscape, and blender crashed.

Great work. I also make animations :)

Hi Can You Give Download Link Anitmation?
If I was Super Rich I’d attempt to make the AT-AT & AT-ST a Reality ‼️
Amazing! Just downloaded Blender, I have much to learn.
Razor Rezek Blender is awesome, have fun :)
+tostrong4you - Sadly... No. I watched a dozen more tutorials on how to use it. I started to lay out a character face and did not do well. I will give myself a lot of credit as a frame by frame touch up artist, but this looks beyond me. It's a shame, I wanted to really dig into bringing Shadows of the Empire to life.
Man... I would really love to do that. I appreciate the invite. I'm not sure I can make the commitment. Where did you get your book?
+tostrong4you - thanks, maybe I will check it.
@@rayrezek Try using models made by other people and work on animation and rendering.
Then what happened?
Where dit you get the StarWars models from?
I built everything myself.
and at dp walker
this must of been hard to make
Hey what rigs did you use or did you make them? Thanks
+Royston Peacock I made all rigs by myself
+Blind Illusionist including the snow troopers?
Yes. I tried to use a rig from makehuman first but it is much easier to handle if you create a simple rig by yourself
+Blind Illusionist where can I create these rigs ( and sorry for all the questions)
Just google for 'Blender rigging', there are a lot of tutorials out there
Where you got a rig?
I made everything myself.
La música sobra.
Actually.
Snowtroopers do not drive AT-ST's
wow make a tutorial
at as ma za dlugienogi
It is good, don't get me wrong, but it looks too much like CGI and not realistic enough.
omg it looks so freaking real :D
what proram is this?
Bence Gunyhó Blender
Thank you
they look like walking dead
The Empires invasion of Russia...
I deeply adore how you did this with the blender software animation, I dont know if you'd be interested, but I have the software too and I was hopin if you'd wanna try to help me with it? kik me at (TheOfficialPunisher) thanks
So I do realize this took you a very long time, but I was wondering if you could contact me on skype, heoevans
