Home of the hardest working Kubota BX tractor known to man! If Mike`s channel doesn`t sell you on the ruggedness of a Kubota BX tractor, i don`t know what to tell yah! Good job brother! 👍 Be safe over there!
@@BiffsEquipment I agree. This morning I spent 2 1/2 hours snow blowing the windows in my neighborhood. Our mountains have been getting it good this year, but the valley hasn't, until last night and I think I have over a foot now. So helping out 12-15 ladies is a good thing.
Thanks for letting me know man, I’m not sure why that is.. I changed up how I did my video description in my recent video from yesterday so you’ll have to let me know if it’s gone!
I started with a homemade 60” snow pusher on my BX23S. I picked up a front mount snowblower and it is great for like 75% of storms. Heavy wet sticky snow makes the blower about useless. Perfect setup would be 54” rear blower and snow pusher on loader. Tackle any storm and move any piles as needed.
I hated when we would get a heavy, wet snow. I live 45 miles NE of Syracuse and have a 52" blower. We average about 6-10' each winter due to lake effect snow. I switched out the blower this past November and decided to try the FEL. Well, that was a PIA on my s-shaped driveway and where to dump the snow. So I went back to the blower. And learned about the float setting on the front end. One thing I did to keep the discharge chute clear was to spray a liberal amount of Prestone de-icer on the intake of the blower and a lot in the chute. No problem now at all id it's a wet snow. And the LE snow really blows out the chute. Cheers, Bob
Hey whats the lowest idle rpms on your bx? I got a new one and im afraid to keep banging up on the stiff rpm lever it seems to want to stay at 1500 but it sounds too high to me to shut off
I sure wish we could get that much snow. But I'm glad this year we didn't because I've been learning about my snow blower, the cutting edge and skid shoes. If I was constantly working on the snow I wouldn't have realized that I need to check my equipment before using it each time. Once again, great vid, stay warm.
Hey that’s good Tekker! Always good to take your time and go through the instruction Manual good before really using anything like that.. safety is key! Hopefully your winter has turned out good this year buddy!
I liked how your cab held up so good { 3 years ?????} that I got one for the BX . There still giving away free cab heaters haha...Is that a electric overhead door opener NICE!!!!!!!! SHOP IS LOOKING GREAT MIKE
No offense on this last day of 2023 but may you get more off Lake Erie than I get off from south eastern Lake Ontario. Maybe someday I can do as much with my Mahindra as you do with your little orange machine. Be safe and warm from 20 minutes North of Syracuse.
Wow very nice man! You got a smoking deal on it! That’s one of the reason I don’t have a snow blower is they are so darn expensive .. but I also need to use my loader through out the winter on other various projects as well which is another reason I push snow instead of snow blow cuz I don’t wanna be switching my loader on and off all winter long each time I have a job to do or something heavy to move
Holy shit! You guys are getting hammered this year. We have absolutely NO snow here in Connecticut which is very unusual. Next week some days will be in the 50's.
When the snow is this wet and heavy, speed works better than torque.. even tho it bogs the motor and is harder on the trans.. I get my driveway plowed much faster in high 👍🏻
The big question when it comes to buying a snowblower for a tractor is: front or rear? Whatever choice you make, there will be advantages and disadvantages. But no matter what choice you make, the heated cab will always be an asset for your comfort.
Great tractor. Love the black smoke, shows she’s workin. Hehe. Ya you need a rear blower. That would be a great combination for snow removal. No snow here in PEI, only had one small snow event so far this winter. That was Dec 13 or so. 5cm or 2 inches tomorrow maybe, with 80k, 50 mph wind. So might have to get one of the tractors out. Have a good day.
Hey Jason, not sure if you seen my recent video but I finally got the stack repaired.. I couldn’t go with out my stack after having it so many years.. I really felt quite empty with out it deep down haha
Well Mike, Mother Nature is sure messing with us this season. 2 major snow storms, and she melts it back to nothing in a week. Nothing but some plowed snow piles left to remember it. Now it looks like 40's next week, so no plowing for us any time soon.
Got a BX2822A on the front of my BX23S. Couldn't see myself driving backwards down my 1500 foot driveway or keeping it straight. Decided on the heavy duty BX2822A over the lighter duty BX2816 after reading all the problems were having with ice and 1 inch+ stones. Last spring I was shocked at all the gravel the BX2822A had shot into the woods. I never imagined it could handle that much abuse! Have increased my shoe height thIs year LOL.
I have a front mount snowblower on my massey ferguson gc1725. Love it. Works great. I want to build a snow pusher like yours to try out . Will still use the blower after I have a base built up. Great job you are doing!
Mike, great video! No snow here in SE WI right now. I will have to live vicariously through you! With the depth of snow you are getting, a blower would be nice. Cab is definitely working out well for you! Take care!
Both front and rear mounted snowblowers each have their own sets of pros and cons. The front mounted their is no looking back constantly but with a rear mounted blower you can leave you bucket or pusher on the tractor. Strictly personal preference.
I have the Carlisle WT 300 tires. They are the perfect all around tire. Traction like an R4 but easy on the lawn like a turf tire. I have a video explaining why I feel they are the best tire. Search RUclips for “best tire Kubota bx biffs equipment” a d you should find the video quite easily
I have never needed to chain them tho when my driveway turns to pure ice I’d like some chains at times as I live on a slight hill so I can slide around a bit but that’s only when it’s extremely Icy
Hey Daniel, yes one of these days I’d like to upgrade to a B2601.. if not possibly keep my bx for smaller jobs and then find a nice 40hp machine for the rest. Some day I’ll get something more but for now my bx and I always find a way haha.
Great work.

Good job brother! 👍 Be safe over there!
I just bought one because of him 🫣 so far I don’t regret it
I sure hope that neighbor next to you is paying you something, she sure gets a great deal living next to you. 😄
Haha yah she does! She’s a good single women, gotta help them out!

Best investment I made for my BX is a 3 point mounted snowblower. Takes half the time of pushing, and the finale product is so much better.
Shop is looking good, hoping we get more snow soon. Nice that you have a cab. 🤣
I've noticed all of your video descriptions have the [s]strike[/s] added to them lately. Not sure if you've seen that.
Keep up the good videos!
Thanks for letting me know man, I’m not sure why that is.. I changed up how I did my video description in my recent video from yesterday so you’ll have to let me know if it’s gone!
I think you definitely need a snowblower, if you keep getting hit like this you’ll run out of room to push the snow 😳😉. Great job 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻

Boy Mike You guys are getting hammered this year. I wish we would get a big dump of snow. Take care my friend
Oh HELL no! Canada weather was drunk again and I hope you escorted it home. Good Lort that's a lotta snow!
Yeh man, Buffalo got absolutely fragged with snow this year, no doubt! Love that snow pusher of yours tho.
You got that right! Thanks buddy hope all is well!
Nice job!! Appreciate the editing out of all the backing up time. Looks like you got your work cut out for you! 😁
I agree 100%. He did GREAT with the editing.
Hey whats the lowest idle rpms on your bx? I got a new one and im afraid to keep banging up on the stiff rpm lever it seems to want to stay at 1500 but it sounds too high to me to shut off
Mine idles at around 1,600 rpm.. use to be a tad lower but I modified my injection pump for more fuel. Hope this helps!

Just got a blower for my massey ferguson gc1723e it is a Mckee snowblower 48inch Canada made got it used for $800. Way faster than pushing it.

That looks like a lot of fun when you have a nice cab to keep out of the weather. looking forward to the next one.
Holy shit! You guys are getting hammered this year. We have absolutely NO snow here in Connecticut which is very unusual. Next week some days will be in the 50's.
Nice light fluffy snow, easy to move the kind we all hope for. Happy New Year buddy.
You definitely need to plow in low range ! It wouldn't bog down and smoke like that!
When the snow is this wet and heavy, speed works better than torque.. even tho it bogs the motor and is harder on the trans.. I get my driveway plowed much faster in high 👍🏻
Hi, where’s the closest Kubota dealer in western NY these days? I need one of these machines stat. Lol
Haha, there’s a bunch of good dealers here in western NY! Try Lamb and Webster, they do a great job and so does Southern Tier Trailer! Ask for Gary.

Mike, see my reply to Max Ball. I went back to using my snowblower now. Cheers, Bob
I got a rear mount blower 54” ok my 1880bx and I love it it cuts my clearing time I’m half or a third almost
Great tractor. Love the black smoke, shows she’s workin. Hehe.

Hey Bud, where did the stack go? Are you putting it back to stock?
Hey Jason, not sure if you seen my recent video but I finally got the stack repaired.. I couldn’t go with out my stack after having it so many years.. I really felt quite empty with out it deep down haha

Nice video Mike. Crap for snow this year in NH, so I'll just live it though your videos.

I'm due east of you by a few hours , fortunately we've dodged every snow storm so far .
I wouldn't get the bx2816 if you're doing more than a short driveway. I do a 700 foot drive plus other stuff and have found it too light duty.
Mike, great video! No snow here in SE WI right now. I will have to live vicariously through you! With the depth of snow you are getting, a blower would be nice. Cab is definitely working out well for you! Take care!

I haven’t even plowed a flake of snow ❄️ yet with my BX & new 48” Landpride snow pusher 🤦🏻
Things are much different at the moment, but we sure have had some challenging weather this winter. Shop looks great!
What tires do you have and have you ever needed to chain them up?
I have the Carlisle WT 300 tires. They are the perfect all around tire. Traction like an R4 but easy on the lawn like a turf tire. I have a video explaining why I feel they are the best tire.

@@BiffsEquipment Thank you!
Whats with the Black line through your Description ??
How many hours you have on your BX?
Great question! Getting close now to 1,000 hours.. REAL close!
Work that baby.😊.
You need a bigger tractor.
Hey Daniel, yes one of these days I’d like to upgrade to a B2601.. if not possibly keep my bx for smaller jobs and then find a nice 40hp machine for the rest. Some day I’ll get something more but for now my bx and I always find a way haha.
engine noise very loud. I have headphone not hearing protectors.
You have a TV/Computer with volume control right?
As someone from Louisiana this is very interesting and something I hope to experience 🥲
