Stutters at 20:10 was likely due to you not killing anything. The horde spawns in and is really big and there are pathing/collision issues that cause the slowdown.
Hey Cub, if you're going to play a "throwable" build you really should prioritise Reload Speed over Damage. While pure Damage is great for eliminating bugs it's no good if you don't throw enough grenades. Reload Speed is better as you'll throw out grenades much faster and hit more enemies than a single grenade would (even multiple grenades per second!) - that's why the "triple split" is so good, you get more coverage. If you get the Reload Speed to 0.5s then you throw out 2 grenades per second doubling your coverage (to hit more than just 1 lot of bugs) AND the damage is applied better (no longer throwing 1 grenade randomly into empty space). Whenever I go full Damage (because that's what the game gives me) I struggle with the Rolly Bosses especially, yet when I get a ton of Reload Speed they can't avoid the grenades as they are literally EVERYWHERE. 😁
Lasting and reload are best for tactical lead. you do want like 100% fire-rate from upgrades and 100% damage but after you hit these two thresholds from like 1 legendary, 3 rares or 6 greens, you just want reload and lasting over anything else.
Cub, have you ever try strong armed driller with wave cooker? He has the best skill - +20% range for ALL weapons. It's not just for throwable, this is a multiplier for all ranges, including beam weapons!
driller is stronger for tactical lead buster. for a lot of reasons. 1 reason is that 20% range is really big for lead buster because it makes spiral pattern near global. The other reason is that driller has easier time to get "Lasting" and "Fire" tag which are most important upgrades for lead buster. Lasting is insane because the more you have of it, you can have 2, 3, maybe even 4 with really good luck lead busters on screen. Fire tag is amazing because lead buster shoots so much that getting potency and raw damage is double-dipping into lead buster's damage. You build 100% critical, critical damage and you'll doing crazy good. this weapon in my opinion is either the best weapon or 2nd best weapon in the game. I have lost 0 times when selecting this weapon out of like 50 tries. A lot of runs were also on hollow bough which much harder other 3 maps. Impact axe -> Tactical grenade->Fire grenade is best path to take. The 4th weapon can be whatever, a projectile weapon like Subata or Plasma is good choice. flame turrets can be good for mining. If you can't get fire grenade or don't want reroll, acid grenade ->fire weapon or Sludge ->Fire weapon also works.
bro i did a cryo grenade build yesterday, got triple grenade and mining with 2 gold and 1 nitra scanner... i had like 500 gold and 300 nita going into 5
Would acid drones have been a good pick over neurotoxic grenades here? That should've allowed you to get lifetime upgrades I think, or would that have not helped as much?
Not sure if that was autocorrect, but I assume substance=subata? Only the strong armed driller can actually get the lead burster. There is no other choice for driller

Just did some research (Wiki). The only other Projectile weapon seems to be the Experimental Plasma Charger.
