20 years is not a joke. If you had a baby 20 years ago, now the baby would gave grown up becoming an adult person aged 20 years. Btw, this was their final song with Brian McFadden... Brian leave the band in 2004.....😢

Mark's low and medium tones sound like his speaking voice. There is no way he can ever sing better than Shane. Shane has a natural beautiful tone,. He has versatile tones and all are truly beautiful, his rock and roll raspy tone is out this world, his vibrato world class, and his smooth and falsetto tone is perfection.
Mark is great with highest notes. Totally specialises on that. And he really can master those Highs. He really is, but you can't assume that great singing is about high notes. Only 3 artist that I know who specialize in high tones and still have beautiful tones and these are Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Cece Winans and even Peabo Bryson as a Male vocalist. Others can hit high notes but their tone is not sweet or euphonious.
Shane's type of voices have euphonious tone. THAT IS THE REASON HE HAS BEEN USED AS THE MAIN LEAD FOR ALL WESTLIFE HITS. That was not favoritism. In fact Shane and Brian brought that kind of emotion that Westlife songs were designed to capture. Mark doesn't have that emotion. But if you want highest singing , that doesn't necessary need emotion, you have Mark. And he is great on that.
