- The 2014 Elite 11 Finals featured Josh Rosen (UCLA), Blake Barnett (Alabama), Kyler Murray (Texas A&M), Ben Hicks (SMU), Drew Lock (Missouri), Brandon Wimbush (Notre Dame), Brady White (Arizona State), Travis Waller (Oregon), Ricky Town (Arkansas), Deondre Francois (Florida State), and Jarrett Stidham (Baylor).
So funny seeing Rosen next to his replacement Murray 😂😂😂
Cardinals made the right choice in my eyes
God Rosen is such a fucking douchebag 😂
@@JacaboBlanco Imagine being able to go back in time to this thing and tell Rosen he was gonna get picked by the Cardinals and replaced a year later by Murray.
Sam Bradford was in this too LOL
The fact you bearly see Kyler Murray when he was the highest rated QB coming out, Heisman winner and the greatest season of all time and was the 1st overall pick tell me that he was heavily overlooked terribly
A&M noticed early as his sophomore year in HS back in '13 had Manziel recruiting him as a successor back then and got him to commit. Too bad Sumlin mismanaged him and Kyle Allen terribly causing them to transfer.
Please learn how to spell! Bearly , you are an idiot!!!!
@@patremines9258 dude it's the internet, not a resume. Chill 🤣
It's weird how they only chose 4 or 5 to concentrate on
It shows me,after watching several of these Elite 11 videos, that Dilfer and Co are bad "scouts"--lean too heavily upon stats and overrate the program's "prestige"! Almost ALL of their camps' MVPS aren't college OR NFL successful (most were barely drafted)! They should reevaluate their model.
they really focused on the wrong short qb here...
Fr
They ignore lock, darnold, Murray
Rosen, Lock, and Murray look legit
Nick Oetting lock threw forty tds, rosens going top two in the draft and murray is about to start at oklahoma so i think you got it right
Get this guy a scouting job😂
Wow! How can I subscribe! And your thoughts on Spencer Rattler?
Good job bro!
Well this aged well
Why were they focused on Brand's height and skill when kyler murray is the same height and better
yeah, it's such bullshit. brand lists at 5'11. murray, who they think is called "hyler", lists at 5'10. yet this make brand out to be 5'6 for dramatic license purposes
also, sam darnold was one of the 18, no?
Rosen looks like that kid who everyone hates lol
Patrick Osborne well everyone seems to like him since he will be a top pick in the draft
Patrick Osborne i
lol you sure?
Arizona cardinals
Antbeast23 that’s why Murray is about to take his job?
Rosen is a unique guy but I don't see him lasting long in the NFL if his belief is that it is just a game and for fun. You can't be a leader of a team full of 30 year olders that need football to support their family and think that way. A few injuries and he might as well retire because his family is clearly well off and he can do a ton of other things.
smashin you need a scout job
Rosen's attitude here explains his NFL career. Wonder if he'll finally change his mentality going into this season.
W take
who would have thought the least highlighted player at this Elite 11 camp would be the eventual Heisman winner in 2018 .... just to go to show you how hard working and dedicated Kyler Murray had to be to to arrive at that stature of Heisman winner!
Sam darnold and Lamar Jackson wasn’t even invited to this camp too
Lol Josh Rosen at #11. Rosen was only the 11th best QB here? Is Dilfer aware this was televised? Rosen was the leader of the group from Day 1, he was the best QB the first 3 days, and minus a bad completion percentage, he played well on the final day. He was obviously one of the Top 4 QBs in this, last year at UCLA showed it. Freshman All-American
Yes, Rosen is very talented. Coming from a guy who have been following the Elite 11 for a long time, to be in the elite 11, you have to have more than talent. Yes he was a leader, but he never really fully "bought in". It takes more than talent and leadership to be a great Quarterback. It takes the ability to adapt to any playbook and execute without question. To be a great player at any position, you have to be coachable. This kid was very set in his ways. I'm not saying he won't be a great player, but in this situation, there were kids who had some traits he didn't. That's All.
+TacticalPREPPER I couldn't agree with you anymore than I already do man. Perfect statement.
And now I belive he will be the number 1 pick this year
Darnold didnt make it to the 11 and he didnt even get a single line on the show.
simgie he spoke at 15:45 but I think that it
This is what I find stupid. The coaches are picking on brand for his size. While Kyler Murray (who is an amazing qb) is an inch taller, if not the same height as Brand. (As far as we know) They don't say a thing about Murray.
I was saying that the whole time.
Domonic Decoco Murray heisman
Murray first pick
Kyler was legit though and one of the most decorated HS QBs to ever come out of Texas. Also had a better arm.
Because Kyler's 100000000000000000 times better......
Future youngest Heisman winner and youngest QB MVP of all time was only a regional finalist. Goes to show hard work really does beat natural talent, and that rankings (or the lack of one) don't limit your potential.
Imagine how different the last half decade of football would be if Lamar Jackson allowed the criticism & doubt to put him down.
I mean, Lamar definitely has the natural talent lol, and I'm not talking about his legs.
Damn, Josh Rosen's dad is a freaking spinal surgeon! The kid probably is a genius!
Samantha he is! He maintained a 4.5 at Saint John Bosco HS
He is rich
They always pick on the shortest guy unless he has a big name. Ryan brand 5'9 2014, there was another guy they picked on in 2011 who was 5'9 and last year 2017 they were on jake haener for being 6'0 but in the same class take martell was 5'10 and they didn't say anything about him because he has a big name. Same with kyler Murray he was only an inch taller than brand but he was a 5 star so they don't say anything about his height. It can be very political
That Rosen kid might not have bought into Dilfer's offensive scheme, but he's going to have to learn to adapt to different schemes from different coaches especially at the next level.
Lmao this is so ironic because he literally got his team switched after one year and had to learn a whole new playbook
@@MarchOnRome I know right, couldn't say something that would apply more to his future NFL career.
this dude blake Barnett was the MVP and he will never get to start at Alabama
lol yep
jack jackson lol
jack jackson yeah he's transferred ...arizona st i think..
Sun devil
Arizona state
sinaloa saurez He’s at South Florida now
"Jam.....Jammm.....ey I want peanut butter and you know what I want wit it!!" -Willie Mcginest
Josh Rosens' attitude explains why he fell to the 11th pick, then traded and may be back on the trading block for the third time. I believe he could be a superbowl winner or a bust based on his attutude. How many GMs saw this video and said; "Hell Nah!"
Also bit shocking that they couldn’t work out that Darnold was one of the top prospects in the class.... Basically zero mentions
Darnold was raw back then and didn’t even start playing QB until about a year before. He was a TE/LB for half his HS football career and then switched to QB for his junior season. He also got hurt that same season and didn’t get to play many games so he was overlooked compared to a lot of the guys that had been starting QB on varsity for multiple years and had been playing QB since pop warner.
He sucks now lol.
Rosen's attitude here explains his NFL career. Wonder if he'll finally change his mentality going into this season.
Deandre johnson from last chance u wow
He was the first dude i noticed
I played QB at Hart High (Newhall, CA) in the late 90s. Was in the years between Kyle Boller and Matt Moore while there with the Herrington brothers. Good to see Brady White representing!
this has truly changed my perspective about every think I know about football
Some of the coaches are bias from the start and should be removed
Drew Lock and Darnold are gonna be the best just watch
Kyler Murray says otherwise. But you called some names that made it
Anyone else recognize motivational speaker Alexis Jones from Survivor Micronesia?
I like how they talked about Brand the whole time and let the dude throw SIX passes the whole time.
jokes on them. darnold goes number three in the NFL draft and looks to be a franchise quarterback of the new york jets for the next decade. shows how things can change.
Isaac Roberts nope jokes on you
Easy to say that now. Darnold didn't even play qb till later lmao can't make such an obvious prediction now dude
Annnnnnd jarrett stidham is officially my franchise quarterback for my Patriots. Proud to have the diamond in the rough, stidham I hope takes all the negativity and turns it into a long playoff run. I believed in him today and I definitely believe in him now
Rosen is legit. MVP right there.
THE GREATEST PROSPECT EVER.
Anyone knows the song in the beginning
ben ashworth he’s going to be the best out of this class in 3 years, just watch
Why did they say Ryan Brand is the only short one there when Murray is there too
“Height is the same for everybody except for one, Ryan brand” the hiesman winning qb kyler Murray is the same height
That was deffinately Carson palmers brother Jordan Palmer they look the same
I'm halfway through the documentary and Kyler Murray has not been mentioned
Why can't a QB who's 5'10" win a Super Bowl again, seriously Dilfer? Either way there's a reason this sport is a team game, it's not down to one person to succeed to victory.
He never said they couldn't
People sleeping on drew lock he gonna win a heisman
That didn’t age well
@@KingGeeKay he made the nfl at least
Wow.......no wonder Josh Rosen didn't pan out in the NFL lol. He didn't have the attitude or mentality or work ethic to be such a high draft pick. Can't believe GMs in the NFL actually wanted to draft this man high and actually did smh. All I would've had to do was see this Elite 11 show and knew instantly I would've never drafted Rosen. Wish I had an opportunity to be an NFL GM.......I'd be much more successful than alot of the so called "professionals"
anybody see the weird twitch dilfer does at 52:37
I love how Kyler got zero love from this program nor did stidham really. Who both will end up with the more successful careers
Lamar is also in the class
@@youso91 Wow. Didn't even see Lamar mentioned. Rosen's attitude was featured and explains his NFL career. Wonder if he'll finally change his mentality going into this season.
@@exillens I don't Lamar weirdly didn't make the top list I think he was the honorable mention. But Kyler did make the top and he wasn't even mentioned like wtf
@@exillens also with Rosen I guess we'll see but the door is closing
@@youso91 Yup. If he doesn't beat out Fitzpatrick this season he'll be a career backup at best.
Brady White was the best 7 on 7 touch football QB in SoCal that year for sure!
Notice who was #1 on that board.... Jarrett Stidham
He still sucks
He led the NCAA last year in passer rating and efficiency........as a FRESHMEN., so think again.
+Thom Miller he only really played 3 games so think again
He played half of the first 7 games and then started two..... he destroyed K State in his first start. Had the best stats of any freshmen last year by far. This year, I suspect Briles using Seth Russell the first half and Stidham the 2nd half of every game.....and Russell will still win the Heisman with unbelievable numbers playing only 2 quarters a game. Every game he started last year was already won by halftime. So Stidham got a lot of playing time. The Bears just roll down the field on almost every possession so the QB's have to be top notch. Baylor returns all 4 RB's who were #2 running team in the USA last year. They also have 7 track stars at wide out........ It's gonna be real ugly again with pinball machine numbers for them. I feel sorry for the rest of the Big 12. I went to Illinois btw.....
+Thom Miller 1. Kansas State sucks
2. Josh Rosen had a better year due to the fact that he played well THE WHOLE YEAR.
3. And yes the first 7 games he played was against the tired sometimes 2nd string players.
barnett has identical throwing motion as andy dalton
thegreatdunks I'm a bengals fan and that's not a good thing if someone is compared to trash Andy dalton
These players look so young then compared to now! From this group, only Kyler Murray became successful in the NFL! Also, I noticed that is Alexis from Survivor Micronesia! 38:42
Do they have a segment on the wide receivers
Idk
Trent dilfer having a backpack on all the time makes me uncomfortable for some reason
All this time later and josh Rosen is the only QB from the elite 11 that made it lol
Jesus Pardo facts darnold there too lol but rosen the best
Jay MoB Rosen is not better than Darnold lol
Murray
Rosen, Darnold, Murray all starting qbs in the league and Stidham and Lock out this year. Not awful.
HumbleBeast 00 Rosen is the most talented, he will be the best
Rosen never knew that Murray was gonna take his starting position
28:25 is like looking back on old games with Tom Brady on the bench by Bledsoe
They made brand out to be the only short guy and kyler murray is right next to him
This feels like a josh Rosen documentary
The way Dilfer and them are towards Brand’s height is how they are towards me with goalkeeping
Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen-2 1st rounders this year.
Sam Darnold didn't even make the cut for the final 11 and was the highest drafted of this class, sheesh
Nah that would be Kyler
@@jackbeach2131 Tied with Joe Burrow now as well.
De'andre Johnson was in Last chance U
Pacific Yeah he had so much potential....
When talking about height you always talk about Ryan... Um what about Kyler Murray? He's also 5 ft 10
He sucks maybe that's why. Bum ass couldn't even make it at A&M lmfao
@@thebirdman612 that man is starting at Oklahoma, sooo... plus taken in 7th rd of MLB draft
Krispy krunch first round 9th overall, if you’re talking about Murray
So uh,..................You were sayin WHAT about Murray?
thebirdman612 ikr he won the heisman but yeah he sucks tho totally
So weird putting the top qb recruits through basic training..its like they made this as some weird pitch to a network to make a series about
It’s a crime how badly Baker was rated as a recruit..
Sam Darnold didn't make the Elite 11 and look at him now
David Westrick yeah a decent quarterback who does have flashes of hope for jets fans I guess
He sucks
SunnyHonexHD for sure you guys don’t know anything about football.
SunnyHonexHD 3rd overall pick and youngest starting QB in the NFL? He definitely doesn’t suck lol.
Sam Darnald best college qb.
The cardinals honestly did Rosen dirty
half of them are from California.
CA HS football produce a lot of the best QBs... Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Jared Goff, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen. The only state that produces similar amount of NFL QBs is Texas. CA and TX produce way more NFL QBs than any other state so they would have the top HS QBs too.
Why did they say nothing about Murray being short too😂
They keep talking about brand being short, what about kyler Murray he's short to
Manziel as camp mentor!!
They had of all wrong. Rosen= bust. Kyler Murray not even in the conversation the whole show. Turned out he was a #1 overall pick in the NFL. And Rookie of the Year
Not to mention Gatorade Athlete of the Year, and Heisman Trophy winner
31:41 well that's a lie Kyler is just as tall as he is wtf
They barely talk about Darnold, Murray, Locke, Johnson. No idea who this stand guy is
And Stidham
At 14 :05 I thought Trent said I would like to introduce you to Michael Ervin , after seeing that white man I new I hadn't heard Trent correctly.🤦🏽♂️
Why lamar Jackson wasn't feature on the show
Cuz he’s a running back...
Jack Beach how...
@@moharris8430 Because he doesn't play how they like QBs to play, so he has to be an "other" in their eyes
They never did anything over Kyer murray who is also 5'11
brandon wimbush goes to notre dame
Ryan brand should of won
Nah
based on what lmfao dude didn't win the 7 on 7 idiot
He's ass. Currently 5th string QB at Maryland XD.
How could they talk about height and not spotlight kyler as well
Even with top recruits there’s favoritism there’s people like darnold kyler and Francois who are way better but I guess what looks better on tv like Ryan brand where you can sell a story yet he only played one collegiate game then quit
Sammy Darnold just lurking. I think he has a little chip on his shoulder.
Ryan brand
Lock looks legit
Ben Pearson called it
they keep calling brand short but what about kyler?
Here after Rosen got replaced by not only Kyler but also Tua
50:01 Snoop Dogg son Calvin Broadus 4star WR too bad he quit
Have they REALLY seen Blake Barnett's birth certificate?! He looks like he's 50! Not to be insulting; just that closeup is shocking: Yikes!
Wanted to check out Ricky town #H2Pitt
Emilio Rossi guy is a quitter. He’s at his 4th school
I'm not sure who's a bigger tool.. Yogi or Trent dilfer..
Joe Burrow btw
I know right. He didn't even make it to the final 11. Talk about a huge sleeper.
Muhh boi Brandon wimbush #GoIrish☘️
the fact that rosen doesnt even wanna be in the nfl lol
I believe that Joe Burrow wan in ELITE 2014.
But this video does not show us his play anything.... He is the one of best talented QB in 2019 college league and 1st pick NFL as QB
Lamar jackson, Joe Burrow & the rest...
Ayyy Ben hicks is from my school
what is the song in the beginning with kids in the text
Feel bad for Blake sucks he couldn't ball out in college
#therosenone
Why did jarret stidham get any recognition in this
Half these people arnt doing anything!!
Doyoan being elite eleven doesnt guarantee anything
Half the players in the NFL draft don’t do anything either, what’s your point? It’s really hard to project how someone will transition to higher level of competition. Even for people paid millions of dollars to do so.
They had a 5"9 guy who was the best kyler murray
Announcer's voice?
22:02 Is that Travis Wilson? the old Utah qb?
Yes
Yes
I go to the same school brand did
rosen will be the 1st pick in 2018...
Not if he sees football as just some game. I think teams will want a guy that truly loves football and wants the guy fully committed. Rosen seems like he comes from a well off family. He has other interest. He will be playing with grown men that feel football is all they have, that is how they feed their family and survive.
smashin He wouldn't have gotten to where he is now if he wasn't fully committed.
Close
Darnold will most likely be the one, Although I personally like Rosen better.
10th pick
He went to the Arizona Cardinals
You were way off
how tf is kyler murray not here
Kyler Murray arrives the next year.
He was there, you must have missed him. I think they ranked him #4 overall.
Francois !
:/ why the hell did lock go to Missouri 😫 the last person I remember out of Missouri was Blaine gabbert also Why the hell is manzeil there 😂😂
