Music to let your mind drift. Look at clouds, feel the warmth of the sun, imagine you have your own solitary space on King George's barge cruising the Thames on a summer evening. I do, but alas, I Iive in a small town in W. Pennsylvania...😊
one day the george father said ta his son you will either became a great doctor or judge george replied i shall nethier a doctor nor a judge i want to devote my life to music and one day he actuallay became a musician😄😄
"The world's greatest religion - Christianity"?! Are your serious? When discussing the meaning of the world Halleluiah you made a point not to mention in what language it is. Ah, the fall of a once great empire...
The voice of the woman narrating this has a voice that's a little too overly enunciated and exact to the point it's boring, ignoring, and comes across as condescending. She mispronounces Händel like it's a shovel. It's pronounced Hin-duhl, not Hand-dull. Geesh!
Handel. Just over 28mins to tell his story. Can't Americans take more than that to learn about this great composer. No doubt there's 10mins of adverts as well to deduct. No wonder you voted Trump in.
@callyharley here in the UK & Europe it's harder to do. We are their cashcow. In Asia, Far East they just have a simple Ads yes or no toggle. Here we can't do it. I've tried Adblock but no go. The Chinese don't let us decide. Why would they. We don't stand up to them. Xiaomi good phones, Redmi & Poco great.
To quote "Otto" in the hilarious movie "A Fish Called Wanda"..., "Do you know what England would be w/o the United States? The tiniest f**king province in the Russian Empire!"..., that goes for all the rest of you smug snotty foreign types!
How did even you connect those two things. And besides at least people are looking to learn about him at all considering how out of popularity classical music is now.
@@ntc1238 The video is complete unsophisticated and obvious. Messiah is one of the great works but it is also one of dozens of works that Handel produced. This is written for the 7 year old kid.
@@shnimmuc I don’t think it knows who it is aimed at. Some of it sounds like a primary school television programme, but other parts do not sound right for children of that age.
I’m no expert but I know great music when I hear it. Handel was a master of it.
Majestic. That’s how Handel’s music sounds. I love his harpsichord compositions.
My youngest daughter once said that Handel's music was "pompous"..., told her that's why I liked it. She then stated ,"that explains you"(!?)
Thst's Händel with an Ä.

The Amen Chorus is truly out of this world, heavenly. Praise
Ty for this ‼️
What a documentary

W.O.W.
Hardly a full documentary as we learn so little about Handel and any work except Messiah. It is also as patronizing as hell in its style.
Oh no, did they just clap between the parts?
Where's the Bass!!!??? This whole recording is all Treble...
Very nice, the sound was in fortunately not so good, but nevertheless enjoyable.

He was totally blinded, to be accurate. :( :(

sorry, this piece is not from the Messiah😮
After I heard „in the late 16th century“ I just stopped this caricature. Horrible.

Biden voters are just as dumb.
There is no culture in America - neither on the left nor on the right.
