~ Just pumping these things out because I had ideas that I wanted to work on. Though I doubt I'll make another for a while unless I think of something good. The song is Novocaine by Fall Out Boy (Again) which I felt had the bad ass feel the Insurrection guys needed, though the lyrics don't fit perfectly. ~

I'm really surprised more people haven't watched this it got really good scene changed matched to the beat of the song. Keep up the work man this was a good one.
Okay but like something I never realized till now is they are normal humans going against Spartans like even the reds and blues are technically stronger then them so that tells you just how badass these guys truly were because the moment one of them became a "spartan" due to the armour he kicked Carolina ass she only ever got away thanks to church like that's insane
A testament to the UNSC, unlike project freelancer these are real soldiers who are locked in for special force contracts and very likely covenant warfare when it was relevant in the timeline. Just a rag tag group of real soldiers with no AIs, no armor enhancements, no mother of invention, and no high expense next gen combative and scenario training. Frankly they would've won if not for the AI enhanced droid known as Texas as well as the unified surprise attack with superior technology all around. It's not just armor, not just armor enhancements, but all of the above combined with an AI babysitter to run everything at super human levels. When you actually look at the variables it becomes more obvious that the freelancers weren't anything or anyone special, Carolina was born and trained to be the best similar to actual spartans whereas the rest were all considerably sub-par compared to the modern special force soldiers. A single mark IV would've easily crushed the entire project, let alone a mark II or mark III with a full fledged AI. If any singular warship actually acknowledged project freelancer it would've been a massacre, the spirit of fire for example with a full fledged ship AI, 6 mark II spartans, and enough resources and manpower to conquer star systems would've barely made a pitstop to wipe the director off the map. The only reason project freelancer was able to achieve anything at all is a combination of deep secrecy and luck, we do even see that the UNSC functionally ran it into the ground acquiring everything after the Texas rebellion.
In conclusion Freelancer ain't shit but hoes n' tricks, the UNSC to include the group codenamed as Insurrectionists are vastly superior in every comparative element except financial assets. Freelancers may have worn spartan armor but they'd likely fall short of the average ODST in a fair fight let alone a real spartan of any generation.
The freelancers and the reds and blues are not Spartans. They are just really good soldiers with modified UNSC armor. It’s actually specified that the Project Freelancer specifically recruited UNSC drop-outs like with Washington
God these guys are badass for essentially PMC Beat Cops. Charon Private Security doesn’t duck around.
Really liked the sniper in particular, he seemed really level headed and pretty smart. Shame his fireteam wasn’t.
They aren't really Charon private security, these are drafted special force soldiers that got reassigned to Charon. I'm pretty sure near the entirety of Charons forces are UNSC issue outside the pirates. His fireteam was ill equipped for the financial gap, if the insurrectionists had suits it wouldn't have even been close let alone armor enhancements and AIs. Even with nothing they still won a lot of combative trades and objectives with minimal losses till the final battle which mind you was a surprise attack with 9 fully equipped spartans, 5 AI fragments including Beta; A fucking battle droid with armor enhancements AND an AI assistant Omega making it a two-AI run non-human super unit. If Texas, the beta/omega hybrid AI Droid wasn't there then Carolina would've ate shit against CT and the leader and likely most the team would've been successfully evac'd, hell quite a few members survived the encounter regardless.

This video really emphasizes the sickness of that slow superhero walk with that *beat* . Much like Dean Heiler has said: Great editing and good choice of establishing shot.

While they are UNSC soldiers it makes more sense to call them by their codename Insurrectionists that they earned while in service to Charon. Either way your title suggestion sounds dogwater even if you were to say it correctly.
