Luise... just because you will find a way to make happen what you want to happen doesn't mean you are "arrogant". It means you are tenacious. And THAT is an amazing quality. It shows the strength of your determination.😉 The many things I've learned from you do not only inspire me, they... no, YOU expand my imagination & encourage my own boldness to at least "try". Thank you for staying true to YOU. 💚💚💚
Luise, relax, you are doing a wonderful job of explaining. Your journal is just so grungy and gorgeous. Thanks for letting us about the papers and you doing the research, have a wonderful day, big hugs Luise.
Luise, I have the kit, the ephemera, and the photos. Outstanding!!!!!! It's a wonderful kit. Thank you for all of your hard work, Luise. I appreciate you.
I rename you luise holtz! This is exactly what he says to do, play play play! Understand your products! This has been so interesting both versions, so interesting
You must have been a scientist in another life...Ì need a lie-down now to digest all the different ideas you have shown us! Thanks for taking the time to demonstrate it all.
Gaaahhhhh! 😤 WHY can't I live near you?!?!?! I want to be crafting friends! IRL crafting friends! Lol 😉 🙏🏻Thank you so much for this AMAZING video!! So much yummy goodness! 🤗
Hi Luise! You are a powerful witch for sure. Full of magic and tricks! Consider the word ABRASIVE. Have you considered asking TH why the shimmer behaves this way? I'll bet the chemists at Ranger would be able to tell him. I love that you are so full of light and curiosity! ❤
This looks amazing! I would expect that the spritz would work with anything that is inkjet compatible because the transparency and acetate are coated with something that absorbs ink. The matte photo paper should as well so I don’t know either why it would work with one brand and not another. It’s weird that it sticks to glass, almost like a paint, but not permanently. It must be a chemistry thing.
Well I just left my science class with Ms. Luise and learned so much to what I can do with spritzers and transparencies. I really enjoy her classes so much. I hope I get an A in her class. Haha🤣😆😁 Your amazing Luise. I wish I could get in my craftroom I just have no desire to craft right now. I lost my mom a few weeks back and then ended up in the hospital with dangerously low potassium and magnesium. I need to just step in there and maybe I could get the inkling to do something. Love ya girl.
Luise, I’m having a thought that maybe because the overhead transparency and the holographic paper are made for ink jet, it would be reasonable to assume they are a tiny bit porous?! I dunno. That doesn’t explain it coming off the photo paper tho. Not sure, but incredibly good info!
Did u see Tim yesterday in the Halloween live? He was using the resist spray to make the “leather “ texture but it has the effect of sealing the layers underneath - at least, if I 54:59 understood what he said! This was fascinating - TFS!
These techniques are amazing, can't wait to try it out. Can you tell me the number of the first stencil you used? I have not seen that one and would like to search for it. By the way, I purchased this Halloween journal kit and love, love, love it! Than you so much for all of your hard work and willingness to share it.
Yes, I heard that as well. But you hopefully saw the difference between him going over the paper with much pressure and me going over it very lightly. On his piece there came of a bit if the mica but not everything like on my paper.
I am fascinated by what you can do and your papers. I need a new printer though. Mine is ancient and not working all that well. Could you or someone here recommend a printer that can handle all these different papers, please? I am trying to research printers and am in the USA. Thank you so much to anyone that can offer advice.
I use an Epson Ecotanc printer, I have several paper trays so that I don't have to change the paper every single time. Make sure to check the maximum weight of paper the printer can handle, so that you also can print on thicker paper for printing for example ephemera

You must have been a scientist in another life...Ì need a lie-down now to digest all the different ideas you have shown us! Thanks for taking the time to demonstrate it all.
I'm excited to get some prints on matte photo paper and play with them. And the holographic oaper is so cool. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for your sweet words, I am so sorry for your loss. Hope you're getting better soon!!
I would imagine that the photo paper has a special coating that would affect the porousness in some way.
Love Love dear 💖

I wish your kits weren't only digital. I absolutely love them. I want to try to make a journal but I'm to scared.
It’s only paper! 😉 try making a small pamphlet book first, you can do it!
I agree to Ann, please just try it! It's just paper and I am sure you'll be amazed by what you can do!!!
Very nice explanations. It’s like a science lesson! Will there be a test? Thank you so much!

Yes, I have seen it. Resist spray would be an alternative here too, but since it needs longer to dry the fixative is my favorite here.
These techniques are amazing, can't wait to try it out. Can you tell me the number of the first stencil you used? I have not seen that one and would like to search for it. I scrolled through the stencils on Tim's site and found it...
Ornate THS076
It IS very pretty. 👍🏻
Thank you
Tim Holtz said not to use paper towel on the sprits it acts like sandpaper.
Yes, I heard that as well. But you hopefully saw the difference between him going over the paper with much pressure and me going over it very lightly. On his piece there came of a bit if the mica but not everything like on my paper.
Experiment experiment experiment that is what I love I use all mediums just experiment I don't even read the directions
Byeee❤❤

Thank you so much for the reply. If a printer can handle 110lb paper is that good enough?
I can't get the fixative delivered to my address. What else can I use? Please
You could also try hair spray
@@luiseheinzl Thank you
