Now is uyghur city Kashgar so changed, but this reagion was video on 2011 now in 2015 this is fixed and OmG Kashgar is really beautiful city in Uyghurland. Chineese government refresh the walls and still fixing other sides of city. This is amazing city to visit and live. This Old city is now good and stunning fixed. I saw how Chineese love the treasures and money to earn it by thia way, but somehow uyghur culture is alive. Bless Allah Uyghurland.

There has to be a lot of change in the thinking of the chinese people. China it self don,t follow any religeon, but it is coming in contact with muslim world. Pakistan has given China the Gwader port for long time lease and transit trade will follow soon in a big way through Kashgar and Uramchi. This will by pass India and Himalyan wall will fall apart. People of the area will be familiar with the chinese language and currency. To and fro traffic will increae. The people living along the route will also benefit. May be we see Arab and Turk influence in the future. The language spoken in the area is close to Turkish language and people being muslim have to bring arabs in trade and commerce.

@@barbararichterova8182 thank you so much for responding I'm glad that someone responded to it. Cause when I first watch this video 5 years ago I was trying to learn more about that region. At that time i didn't know that China had Uyghurs living there. I thought that the only ppl that lived in china were *mostly* the Han ethnic group.

The city is rebuilt on plan to exactly look like the old Kashgar with stronger structure. Unesco heritage center had sent their agents to concern/investigate the reconstruction project. The old kashgar is going to be a famous tourist site after the rebuild is completed. Even now a large part of the city(rebuilt) has been open to tourists. Please Stop the misleading propaganda, and go to visit and check the old Kashgar by yourself.

You liar. The old Kashgar city houses are falling apart, no proper sewage, no earthquake proof structures, alley too narrow for ambulances and an earthquake some years ago destroyed part of the city. The Chinese government spent 6 billion to renovate this city. Now it is so much more beautiful.

  • @Galimah

Omg, if they just cleaned up the old city, painted the houses and put new bricks on streets this could be one of the most charmiest neighborhoods in the world. Now it looks a DIRTY and unhealthy slum.
