This song takes me to another world, it's just magical! And if I'm very stressed or anxious, I watch the video clip of Ashes of Love with this song and I feel much better.
0:48 and 1:00-1:01 and 1:04 you can hear a slight breath. If you listen carefully you can hear her take a quick breath in between the lyrics. She just has impeccable breath control. If you look closely at her throat while she is singing the muscles are engaged. I for one think this is a live performance and again, it is simply excellent breath control. One more thing, she is singing mainly in a very light mix/head voice, falsetto, so she doesn't really have the need to exert herself to really support those higher notes as you would see when a singer is belting. Everything of it was perfect.. The CG were on point, the characters balanced e/o, the storyline was brilliant and the singers... Her voice especially gives me the chills... Are there any good Chinese dramas anyone recommends? idk.. maybe with YangZi or DengLu or idk what other good actors there are?
The Eternal Love Ten Miles of Peach Blossom Princess Weiyoung Legend of Yun Xi Princess Agents (Deng Lun is one of the cast) They're all historical dramas but I don't think it can be compared with Ashes of Love hahaha Deng Lun and Yang Zi played as a couple in Flowers in Fog while in Ode to Joy they are one of the casts.
I would recomend you the same drama's as +Celine Montenegro but I would also add and "King's Woman". It's fantastic historical drama and the first I watched. Since then I got addicted to chinese drama's. There are a lot more that I heard they are great but haven't watched them yet.
I'm so happy I discovered this video! It was a great surprise to see (hear actually) that this actress has such a fantastic voice beside being gorgeous. She was so cute and adorable in Ashes of Love!

0:48 and 1:00-1:01 and 1:04 you can hear a slight breath. If you listen carefully you can hear her take a quick breath in between the lyrics. She just has impeccable breath control. If you look closely at her throat while she is singing the muscles are engaged. I for one think this is a live performance and again, it is simply excellent breath control. One more thing, she is singing mainly in a very light mix/head voice, falsetto, so she doesn't really have the need to exert herself to really support those higher notes as you would see when a singer is belting. Here is another example of the same song and it is live ruclips.net/video/VoSVmrwlvMU/видео.html. Although she does not have the same amount of breath control, you will notice that she is much more relaxed when singing in the falsetto (softer tone).
Falsetto is often used as a vocal break for singers because it is meant to be light and takes the least amount of exertion to produce. Often people think that singers are lip syncing because they look so relaxed when singing in the the breathier tones of falsetto. I know it is kind of got off topic, but I thought that I would just add that.
So again, to answer your question, it is a matter of excellent breath control.

@@NurJanah-fr1ry Yes it is. A good example is with another style of singing which is Opera. Go watch a couple of videos, one in particular would be Mozart's Queen of the Night Aria. That takes a great deal of breath control. It takes years though to build up stamina to sound this clean.

萨顶顶真的很强。之前有人诟病说她假唱，但是这边有一个问题是，是她假唱还是主办方要求假唱？这是两个概念。但是就我个人感觉来说，我更相信是主办方为了节目更加完美才会要求她假唱。
薩老師真的是大神，這部劇裡的所有歌曲（包括純音樂）都是她制作的，而所有有人聲唱的曲目（除了"不染"）更是全部她親自作的曲。光是這一首"左手指月"，雖然旋律是中國古風，但編曲上卻用了大量的西方電子音樂，而她的唱法也揉合了流行、民族、美聲，貫徹了她將中西音樂元素完美和諧融合起來的音樂風格和理念。不單是演唱功力、舞台表現力、作曲能力，最厲害的是她那龐大、超凡的音樂素養和眼界。假唱是真的有過，但也不過是那一次，再說了，這世上哪個歌手在整個演唱生涯中沒假唱過？世界級實力的Diva如Celine Dion也曾經假唱過，更何況當年那晚會全場假唱，這就很明顯極高可能是主辦方要求的了吧。最後膚淺些說句，詬病她假唱的黑子們，你們先看看你們的偶像哪個能站在英國皇家阿爾伯特音樂廳向全世界直播着開個人專場，再來黑她吧。

Ashes of Love was legit the best Chinese drama i've came across so far and this song sounds as heavenly as the drama itself.. I finished AOL just the other day and i have withdraw syndrome.. Everything of it was perfect.. The CG were on point, the characters balanced e/o, the storyline was brilliant and the singers... Her voice especially gives me the chills...
Are there any good Chinese dramas anyone recommends? idk.. maybe with YangZi or DengLu or idk what other good actors there are?

I would recomend you the same drama's as +Celine Montenegro but I would also add and "King's Woman". It's fantastic historical drama and the first I watched. Since then I got addicted to chinese drama's. There are a lot more that I heard they are great but haven't watched them yet.
