i got sucsess test i got 15v 6amp using old 95w cfl to make the circuit work and to not overheat the transistor is to remove the electrolytic capacitor the 400volts one .the transistor will never get hot on it:)

@@power45118 it depend on the cfl driver if that is the filter cap from the rectified ac line its ok but if the capacitor is for the half bridge dont remove it

Isn’t the output frequency too high for those 1N4007 rectifying diodes ?

It's ok that it provides us 12v but what is it's wattage and amperage.

      No brother it's not fake
In filamental bulb we don't have to add diode
But this circuit is not safe it getting hot in 5min of run

The diagram clearly shows 4 diodes and a smoothing capacitor arranged to create a full bridge rectifier on the 12 volt (DC) side.
The lack of a rectifier in the video doesn't effect a load that functions on both AC & DC (tungsten filament bulbs, internally commutated motors, ni-chrome heater coils, etc.)
The most likely point of failure in building this circuit is the electrolytic capacitors.
Those things will go bad over time, even if they aren't being used.
Should they all check out, a resistor is second most likely to be at fault.
Every manufacturer had to find their own way to shorten the life of CFL bulbs though, so there will be at least one component that sticks out as "just barely in spec".
Engineered obsolescence... They don't make as much money if their product is well built.
