I bought about 20 bottles of MM this week and painted my first test kit with your paints yesterday. I absolutely love them! I have to say, I watched that masking tape video you did (which was very convincing) but it had me DYING! I was laughing so hard! I've had tons of issues with paint peeling off while masking in the past and hopefully your product will eliminate any of those problems. Disclaimer: I didn't use MM primer on this test kit though so I'm afraid to try the masking tape trick. I did order a bunch though. Question: Do you generally spray with 10-15 lbs of pressure?

Thanks for the videos! Very helpful!
Can you do one for whitewash on 1/35 armor and some of the rust colors?

@@missionmodelsus3920 ah. Gotcha. So let's say you spray a lacquer metallic and then you spray a black enamel over it to cover it. You would do this where there is a raised area with a recessed area surrounding it. Like a bunt cake pan. You want that raised area to be metallic but the rest to be black so you then take a cotton swab with enamel thinner and wipe the enamel from the raised area so it shows the metallic coat that was underneath. Hopefully I didn't make that sound stupid. Thanks.

Hi Dalton , Mission Models paint is 100% water based. What you are describing is a sludge wash. With all due respect this is not how we paint or do washes. We do know what you are describing but honestly we find that a better ans more controlled finish is to use strategic post shading , filters , pinpoint detailing and localized washes using liner brushes etc. So we will not be doing a reverse wash. Building up and layering will also keep things tidy. You can also join the Mission Models fan page of facebook.

@@missionmodelsus3920 Ok fair enough. I've been told it's not the best technique to use. I was curious is all as it sometimes makes things easier. Sounds like I better work on my detail brushing and masking chops. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to my shipment getting in!

Perfect , you will find much more reward in your finish. From there you will develop your own style
