Nice work, Gerben - strong finish. Just looked and, although I rode Muckle Yin instead of this for TdZ Stage 1, it will be 2 Laps of this route for next week's Flat is Fast series so I will get a shot at racing it after all. A little bit bumpy but nice downhill finish so should be fun.
Hey Gerben, super good!!!! I just love that you race so aggressive! BUT you are also burning lots of matches... you always have one of the highest avg w/kg at the end of a race... maybe just try not to close every gap... let the others do that... on the other side..: I can so much understand your mentality just going for it. GOOD JOB and I just love how you share your experience and how you have developed. BEST, Folkert
you spent a lot of time with no draft since you were riding in the gutter on the side of the peloton. Im trying to figure out myself why this happens, but moving forward or backwards often helps
I think it's b.s. that you were having to put out a ton of effort to keep up with or ahead of people late joining. At the seven km mark you had three or four people just pop up, all fresh and ready to race. I think that needs to be changed. Either they start at the same place everyone else did or they get dropped in, let's say, about 80% back in the field. None of this getting dropped in the front of the front group crap. Oh, and the guy that beat you at the line, NZ, dropped in just before the end of the ride. He didn't even do 100 meters to beat you. Excellent ride, by the way.
Another huge effort and outstanding result.
Thank you for watching!!

Indeed full gas for me. Just scared of getting dropped :D It's great fun though!

Flat is all relative... In a mountain range 115 meters is flat. :) Great effort Gerben!
In my country 115 meters will be a ski resort :D
You are like Pogačar,,,,he,bravo Gerben 💪👏
Should I go pro? 😂

Hello, this course is misnamed, 12.4 kilometers with 115 meters of elevation gain, it is not at all a flat course.
Yes. It's London Rollers :D
N.Z who finished ahead of you had 0.0 km!
He got a free ride but no honour 🤣
Do these impact racing score? Or totally separate?
No. Hence the popularity I guess 👌
