I had my TD5 130 County stage 2 tuned along with larger inter cooler and other works / parts necessary by a very well known LR tuner ..supplies parts for most competition LR’s.. Blew the head after 2 years ..had an upgraded head fitted… a year after that blew a head gasket ..had the remap reversed . I’ve owned the truck as a lightly used everyday vehicle carrying firearms / dogs/ hawks for 20 years and only covered 136k to date .never abused .also runs a GKN overdrive on 3 gears massive improvement on cruising
Thinking of upgrading my 200tdi to the AlliSport intercooler and new XL radiator. How come you didn’t fit yours yourself, it doesn’t look an overly complicated job?

Great video but you forgot to mention that the two 4 bolts that hold the bonnet slam plate down are studs this had me taking out head lights and wasted about an hour and a half lol

Thanks for the comment! The Defender lettering is from eBay and replaced the original ‘land rover’ type.
Will you need to get the mapping tweaked to allow for the bigger cooler?
This works well with the Stage 1 Remap so not further tweaks needed. It does however unlock the ability to move to a stage 2 map.
