+M Jansen yeah unfortunately they miss the point with that statement. it's not the same thing. it's a piece of eve that created very unique and beautiful atmosphere. It's a piece of Eve soul that they wripped out and replaced with junk, no offense to whoever worked on that repeat nonsense.
The original EVE music is now back for listening to in-game. As a player you can either listen to the original music or you can listen to the new "Dynamic" music playlist.
Played for about 7/8 years... And the music always takes me back to the very start, mining in belts in a rifter thinking 'i got one million isk I got this game licked'... Then I started playing and the beautiful sound track got set to one side... Nice to revisit.
That a big question. Everything that is within eve is created and controlled around pvp, except for the few super smart manipulators. The markets the building, the mining the missions, are just menial tasks you will do in the early days, to earn isk while you skill (possible year)... Don't let them be the focus of your game!! Skilling for isk making should always leave you with a bitter taste. Focus you skills on pvp, but max out all the learning skills first, then starting always with the basics. as a new player t2 frigates pref interceptors with maxed skills and a cool head are extremely handy to any pvp corp/alliance as you can scout, so take little excursions into low space as quickly as possible to give you that calm persona your gonna need, expect to die. Personality : you as a person need to be smart, polite, team player. Like any job. Make friends... Don't solo eve, get stuck in...
+Dex K Must have been a while mate, learning skills got axed a long time ago and the skill points were refunded... with that said it's been a long time for me too, logged in for the first time in a year tonight and EVERYTHING on the in-station UI is different. You don't need to be out of the game long for it to leave you behind.... apart from the spammers in Jita, they're still the same ;-)

I just discovered this playlist. I played EVE for awhile many years ago. The music was one of the best parts. However, I believe a few of the songs are remakes that are just a little faster than the originals; not quite as calming.
tried em all couldn't find it. Whats the name of that song that plays frequently today and sounds a bit 'upbeat' and has trumpets ? Sorry, I know. But in case one of you would know. The trumpets are the highlight of that particular song.
