I would say both. Not just drum beats,but you need to time better when to come in. If you sing too early especially after a guitar solo,the musician have to rushed because you sing too early. Yes professional musician is able to catch up,but what about those beginner musician who are not able to catch up. The song will be messy. Singing as a soloist vs in a group can be equally challenging. In a group,you need to know when your part.

Or she is singing silently. Or something else. Either way it made me unsure enough to title this vid as mouthing. But if she is singing that means she actually solo-covered/sang every single Mamamoo song they performed, which's pretty cool, wish we could hear those.

I think memorizing all the songs is part of what she considers her leader duties. I think she does sing a lot of the time and does mouth quietly too. Thanks for this video! A good example is the Mamamoo Moosical Preview video, since they are sitting near together and almost never leave their seat (exept Moonbyul when she got flying while rapping). And they are not silent, at least not everytime. The fact, that Solar makes her own soundeffects is known to all Moos out there and Hwasa got Wheein several times in a live performance by holding her mic over to Wheein so we can hear her scream ;-)
