Okay .. knowing what to kick is covered.. My question, Should gameplay focus be on cast bars? Is that what arena pvp'rs are mostly watching? Obviously there's lots to watch for.. like when enemies pop cds or gain buffs, as well as watching everyone and everything else. I guess my problem is tunneling cast bars and losing sight of other important things
@@PeaceJaime123 depending on the comp. I ran ele blast when my other dps tended to be the primary target in solo shuffle. I was able to blast safely from range and bursted melee down easy
Good. Kicks existing will always put the caster at an innate disadvantage because even faking will always mean you lose time during which exactly zero output is produced from the caster. There's a reason instant casts are king. It's just important that they don't overdo it and I think it would be fair to revert the duration of the precog buff back to 4s for 10.1.
@@Sh4d0wch40s That's part of the chess game of WoW. Similar to how Roots are the chess game of Melee. That's why precog was given to Casters. Because of the time you lose faking, the haste plus cc immunity lets you make up that loss. Always felt that kick durations should be tied to the cd of the kick. For example, I'm actually okay with Pummel (my main kick) going down to 3 secs because it gives it a good ratio of 1 sec lock out for 5 secs of cd. I feel this should be the defining ratio. So, for every 5 secs of cd your kick needs to be available it locks a spell school out for 1 sec. The only elephant is Evokers because their base kick cd is 40 secs (unless talented to be 20 secs). That would give them an 8 sec lockout, something really not good at all. I really feel Quell should be baseline 20 secs with a 4 sec lockout. Not something you have to talent into.
So, some low priority spell still lock a caster out of major defensives because of their spell school. I've literally won tons of games kicking a Frost mage on Frostbolt or a shadow priest on Mind Flay. Would of liked if you caveated some of these low priorities saying "Low, but if close to a kill, still good to kick."
FACT: None of this matters if they keep ruining other classes while making others OP... Like Ret for example. Because classes like Resto Druid, Disc Priest & Rogue (just to name a few) feel absolutely useless and are unplayable for serious players. . Rerolling is the new Meta.
This is so tiring. Rogue, Disc and RDruid ruled PvP for the entire season. Only since 10.7 have they not been head and shoulders above other classes. Stop it, already

Frost stops both ice barrier and ice block on mages, shadow stops warlocks wall and spriests disperse 😅
Mind games is not doing any damage as an sp since DF nerf, frost bolt for frost mage can crit up to 110k in 10.0.7, so I think the video is outdated.
You forgot to mention ele blast for shamans. Kicking ele blast will lock them out of every school.

Also lightning lasso, you can kick it to stop cc and dmg, plus it's nature school
You guys forgot to mention that if you lock the quick demon re-summon that it goes on cooldown and they have to slow cast it after.
If they purge it yea, not kick alone
