Founded in 2012, ГШ, led by former NRKTK member Evgeny Gorbunov and vocalist Ekaterina Shilonosova, began with a punchy garage sound and 90s alternative tunes in English. Over time, they switched to Russian and rebranded as ГШ in 2016, releasing their debut album, "ОЭЩ МАГЗИУ," praised by critics. Drawing inspiration from John Zorn and Sonic Youth, they produce energetic rock music, embracing the unpredictability and sharpness of Russian avant-garde, transforming ordinary elements into a dynamic, thought-provoking dance.
